“Miss Gu,” a young woman from the Murong family spoke up, “I heard you studied abroad?”
Gu Fanyan was taken aback; this was the beginning of the interrogation.
“You studied abroad and even got a double degree,” Murong’s mother continued, “You should learn from Fan Yan. When you’re studying, study hard and don’t spend all your time playing around with your classmates. You don’t act like students at all.”
Gu Fanyan hadn't expected that Murong's mother would speak up for her.

Before Murong's mother could finish speaking, she pointed at another girl: "And you, why did your parents go to the south last month? How many boyfriends do you have? Do you even know?"
"Auntie!" The girl was also surprised.
No one expected that Murong's mother would start digging up old dirt, and everyone immediately felt insecure.
