Lin Zhibai was speechless, as if something was blocking his throat.
Gu Fanyan walked past him without looking back, leaving behind only a faint fragrance that made him feel even more lost and melancholy.
After a while, the project director from Lin's Group came over. "Young Master Lin, the project materials for this phase of Gu's Group have all been compiled. President Lin instructed that you review them and then provide him with a proposal."

She finished speaking and turned to leave.
Just as she was about to open the door, he caught up from behind and blocked it with his hand.
With his other hand, he pulled her shoulder and turned her around.
She was trapped between him and the door panel.
She glared at him angrily, her beautiful eyes burning with fury.
He looked at her, his eyes darting around, his emotions churning, also angered by her words.
But in just a moment, the two realized that when their eyes met, their breaths mingled and they were very close.
Sweet memories from the past involuntarily flooded my mind.
His gaze gradually dimmed.
She understood all too well what this meant, and in a panic, she turned to leave.
