Chapter 350 Is it because she's pretty?

Lu Dongjue stepped forward and took the note from his hand.

The note was still more than half full, and the address was clearly visible.

Lin Zhibai: ...

"For the sake of our years of brotherhood, please don't tell Wanwan that I leaked the address." At this moment, what else could Lin Zhibai say?

Lu Dongjue breathed a sigh of relief. Looking at the address, it seemed to be a tourist area.

She's fine.

But he frowned, puzzled: "Why?"

How would I know why?

Lin Zhibai pouted, "But you'll know the answer if you think about it. You must have made Wanwan angry again."

Lu Dongjue was momentarily speechless.

She said she wanted him to give her an answer.

Not only did she break her promise, but she also started arguing with him?

Lu Dongjue felt like he had nowhere to reason with.

"Now that you have the address, you know what to do, right?" Lin Zhibai asked rhetorically.

Lu Dongjue lowered his eyes; he probably already knew.

Island hotel.

Yun slept soundly until nightfall and woke up feeling refreshed.

"Ding-dong!" The doorbell rang.

Then came the boy's voice, "Sister, sister, are you awake? I'll have the doctor examine you."

Yun Suiwan opened the door and was greeted by the boy's smiling face.

A middle-aged female doctor carrying a medicine box stood next to him.

“Sister, you should be asleep,” the boy said. “I don’t want to disturb you, but I think it would be better to have the doctor check you out.”

The boy was a thoughtful and considerate person; he guessed that Yun Suiwan had slept well before coming over.

And the doctor they found was a woman.

The female doctor gave Yun Suiwan a thorough examination, during which the boy waited outside until the examination was completed.

"There's a little fluid in your lungs and some minor cuts on your hands and feet, but otherwise nothing serious," the female doctor said with some surprise. "You've been at sea for at least a day, it's incredible that you're still like this."

Yun Suiwan also felt that she was very lucky to be alive.

Perhaps because she had suffered too many injustices in the past, good days awaited her from now on.

As she thought this, a bitter feeling swept through her heart.

"Sister, are you feeling unwell?" The boy keenly sensed her unhappiness.

"No, I just feel a little tired." Yun Suiwan smiled slightly, filled with gratitude for the young man.

After seeing the doctor off, she asked the boy, "What's your name?"

"My name is Lei Bo, and I am 15 years old."

"My name is Yun Suiwan. As for my age, you can call me 'older sister' without any problem."

Lei Bo grinned, his smile simple and warm.

"Are you hungry, sister? I'll get you something to eat." Lei Bo said, then turned and left without waiting for her to agree.

Yun Suiwan pursed her lips. Children whose families run hotels are all so cheerful.

Yun Suiwan had slept well and didn't want to trouble the children too much, so she went downstairs to find something to eat.

She found a room that looked like a restaurant and heard a shouting voice coming from inside: "...You brat, that's chicken soup that other customers ordered...If you dare take it, I'll beat you to death!"

"Tell me honestly, was it because she's pretty? No matter how pretty she is, she's not your type, you little brat, she's a whole generation older than you..."

Judging from the voice, it's the hotel owner, so the one being scolded must be Lei Bo.

Yun Sui walked into the restaurant with an open and honest demeanor.

Lei Bo was stunned for a moment, then immediately lost face and ran away with his face flushed red.

The proprietress put her hands on her hips and cursed at Lei Bo's retreating figure again: "You little brat!"

This act was, of course, put on for Yun Suiwan's benefit.

She wasn't embarrassed or afraid when Yun Suiwan came in.

Yun Suiwan smiled faintly and sat down at the table. "Boss lady, what's your surname?"

The proprietress was slightly taken aback.

Yun Suiwan changed into a linen top and wide-leg pants prepared by the store. This kind of fabric gives people the most relaxed and friendly feeling.

However, she dressed like a female boss... exuding an aura that cannot be ignored.

"My surname is He, so what?" The proprietress tried her best to maintain her composure, determined not to lose.

“Boss He,” Yun Suiwan continued, “my name is Yun Suiwan. I was on a cruise ship with friends when we got caught in a typhoon and ended up here.”

"Although I don't have any money right now, I've already asked my family to come and pick me up. Once they arrive, all my expenses here will be settled."

"Of course, to show my gratitude, I can pay double!"

This statement has taken all aspects into consideration.

Unable to find any loopholes, the proprietress could only scoff, "Those people who were blown here by the typhoon all said the same thing, but in the end they all secretly ran away!"

Yun Suiwan's gaze was firm: "That's them, not me."

The proprietress was speechless.

There was a power in this girl's demeanor and tone that made you instinctively want to believe her.

"Sister He, Sister He!"

Just then, a middle-aged woman rushed in, anxiously saying, "You'd better go see! Lei Bo has gotten into another fight! His head is all cut!"

With a "bang," the proprietress threw down the spatula in her hand and ran out quickly.

Yun Suiwan never expected Lei Bo to be such a troublemaker.

She should go and see, but she was really hungry, so she grabbed a piece of cake and ate it as she walked.

After she had almost finished eating the cake, she went to where the crowd was.

"...Is your son Lei Bo sick?!"

"I don't think he's sick; he's a complete mad dog, biting anyone he sees!"

“Lei Bo’s mom, you should take your child to see a doctor if he needs to, and send him to the police station if he needs to. It’s not right to keep letting him out to bite people.”

Yun Suiwan was stunned. What was going on? Wasn't Lei Bo supposed to have a broken head? How come he was being attacked instead?

She squeezed into the crowd and took a look, and her anger immediately flared up.

Several women were seen protecting several boys of different ages, surrounding Lei Bo and his mother and accusing them.

Blood was streaming down Lei Bo's forehead.

The other boys were unharmed, at most with some dust on their faces.

Anyone with eyes can see who's bullying whom!

However, Lei Bo's mother didn't say a word, her eyes stubbornly filled with tears.

Lei Bo was unconvinced and wanted to argue back, but she held him back tightly.

"Ouch!" Yun Suiwan's loud voice interrupted the crowd's accusations.

All eyes turned to her.

"Who are you?" a woman asked.

Judging from her attire, she must be the backbone of these women.

“You’re just passing by,” Yun Suiwan said, arms crossed, “aren’t you ashamed that so many of you are bullying two people?”

Lei Bo and his mother looked at Yun Suiwan, a hint of surprise in their eyes.

"Just passing by?" The woman scoffed. "Then just pass by properly and don't meddle in things that aren't your business."

"What if I were to interfere?" Yun Suiwan chuckled.

The other women all seemed to be eyeing Chao Yun Sui Wan with predatory intent.

"Lei Bo, let's go." Sister He pulled Lei Bo away in a hurry.

"Don't rush off," Yun Suiwan blocked the two of them, "They haven't apologized yet."

The women glanced at Yun Suiwan in surprise, then a mocking smile appeared on their faces.
