Chapter 75 Qingwu Tribe

One hundred and fifty soldiers, fifty half-grown boys were formed into a flying rifle and stone throwing team, fifty wildebeests, and white belts were put on the sea. Ma Yue was timid, but no matter how afraid he was of the sea, he had to get on the boat, right?

Many warriors were seasick. It was unavoidable. The men and children of the Sea Tribe had never been on a boat before. The hundred men of the White Mist Tribe were used to it.

These one hundred strong men from the White Mist Tribe have relatively low faith power, but at least they still have some. It is understandable that the time is short.

"Use ropes to connect all the boats together? That would be a good idea, so that they won't be washed away by the sea water." Bai Pi was right next to Ma Yue.

"I've never been to sea before, so this is the only way." There were no iron chains, so they made do with woven straw ropes. The thirty ships connected by the ropes looked like candied haws. Ma Yue could only imagine how to do it. If he couldn't grasp one rope, he would have to use two.

Fortunately, the waves on the sea are really not big, otherwise, these small boats that are more than ten meters long would be useless in the sea.

Along the way, Ma Yue noticed that the sea seemed to have currents. Even though the currents weren't straight, they still existed, right? His only hope was that the white people would be more reliable this time and at least make it to Kirishima, right?

Ma Yue estimated that the distance was not too far. The last time Baipi and Hai went out to sea together, they did not bring much water.

Ma Yue is a cultivator. He is not seasick to the point of being a little nervous, but he has an instinctive fear of the sea.

The white-skinned woman was quite calm, as if she was born to love the sea.

One day, two days, three days...it seemed that there was not much fresh water left on the boat.

"We're almost there, it's just ahead." Baipi pointed to the black dot ahead. Fortunately, it was only three days' journey by sea.

"Where to land? Are you prepared?"

"Don't worry, Hai and I have already done some reconnaissance. We landed under a cliff and have cover. The people from the White Mist Tribe shouldn't find us." Baipi and Hai didn't stay in the Mist Island in vain. They still had to prepare basic terrain reconnaissance.

To attack such a large tribe, you have to use a surprise attack.

"They don't live in caves, aren't they cold?" Ma Yue asked.

"The temperatures on that Mist Island are similar to those in our Sea Tribe throughout the three seasons, except there's no winter."

Ma Yue was surprised. It wasn't far from the Sea Tribe, so why didn't Wu Island have winter? And there was such a good place? Couldn't that mean they could rotate their crops through the four seasons?

The people of Kirishima all built simple straw huts for themselves, as long as they could shelter from the rain.

"Oh my god!" The fleet sailed for another half day, and saw many people cheering on the beach of the island. Where was the sneak attack?

"Well... with the current trend of sailing, errors are inevitable." Baipi said somewhat embarrassedly.

"Are those people from the White Mist Tribe?"

"It seems... not!" The fleet was getting closer and closer to the coastal beach. Baipi had been in the Baiwu tribe for half a year and knew most of the people in the Baiwu tribe. There were more than fifty people on the beach, so how could he not know any of them?

Besides, I'm not familiar with this beach.

The Kirishima Island is very big, and of course the White Mist Tribe is not the only one that lives by the sea.

"Why are they cheering if they don't know us?" Ma Yue was a little confused. Primitive people have a strong sense of territory. Shouldn't they be on high alert when such a large fleet attacks?

"Maybe they're a friendly tribe of the White Mist Tribe? I'm not familiar with this beach either."

This white guy is really unreliable.

Let’s get ashore first.

"You go and communicate!" Ma Yue estimated that he could not understand the dialect of the primitive people here. Ma Yue waved his hand and the high priest followed.

Not bad, Baipi was dancing around and was finally able to communicate with the other party.

The people of the Sea Tribe began to gather. This was the tradition of the Sea Tribe team, and even the one hundred strong men from the White Mist Tribe who had just surrendered did so.

The most important thing is that the fifty wildebeests from the Sea Tribe came ashore, and fifty able-bodied men from the Sea Tribe rode on the wildebeests.

The large figure at the other end seemed to be very respectful of the high priest. Oh, and looking at the high priest's garb, which looked like a freakishly painted animal skin, he was clearly a priest. Primitive people had to respect the profession of priest.

The high priest was able to communicate with the other party, which was good.

"What's going on?" Baipi came back. Over there, the leading man seemed to be inviting the high priest and had already started walking forward.

"They really thought we were from the White Mist Tribe. Only the White Mist Tribe has so many boats," Baipi said. "This tribe is not big. I estimate that there are less than 30 able-bodied men."

Fortunately, there are not many people here and I am familiar with the White Mist Tribe, so it is a good idea to land here first.

"In other words, the Baiwu tribe also has sacrifices?" Ma Yue asked.

"Yes, three."

No wonder the high priest communicated so smoothly with the other party. Presumably, the other party had never seen a White Mist Tribe priest before. How could the high priest have learned the local language so quickly? Ma Yue was confused.

Ma Yue didn't give the order to attack, so the team just followed him. They wanted to show hospitality, and we were good people, so we wouldn't attack friendly people.

If we start an unnecessary war, we might even alert the enemy.

The Qingwu Tribe's settlement was indeed small. It was simply a territory surrounded by low branches, and within it were numerous simple thatched huts...

Hospitality? Or corn? Do all the tribes on this foggy island grow corn?

You can't just eat someone else's food for free, right? The high priest enthusiastically gave the Qingwu tribe's leader two bowls of salted radish strips, and the Qingwu tribe excitedly expressed their gratitude repeatedly. Clearly, salted radish strips are a commodity everywhere. They're salty, so they're delicious.
