Chapter 487 Hongjun's IF Line (5)

Chapter 487 Hongjun's IF Line (5)

The crowd suddenly understood. The confusion that had plagued their cultivation path in the past was slightly enlightened, like seeing the clear sky after the clouds had parted. The path under their feet was flat and clear, and they were able to integrate it with their own cultivation. With a solid foundation, they had the confidence to break through to the next realm.

Below the level of a sage, even a quasi-sage is but an ant; below the level of a quasi-sage, even a great immortal is but an ant. So what? They are never afraid.

Hongjun continued to preach, ignoring the situation of the listeners below, and had no intention of wasting his time to answer their questions. He already understood what he needed to understand, and those who did not understand simply lacked enlightenment.

He kept intercepting the golden lotuses formed from the falling merits and throwing them into the Qiankun Cauldron, completely disregarding that these were rare merits. As long as they could alleviate the pain, these merits would no longer be of little use to Hongjun.

Thanks to Hongjun, Chang Hao awoke from his meditation and discovered that he had not only leaped to the peak of Quasi-Saint, but also, as Hongjun wished, had taken over Yangmei's Law for himself.

Now, he is a being who possesses two Great Dao Laws, and apart from Hongjun and Luohou, no one in the world can rival him.

Hongjun's profound and mysterious sermons continued to penetrate the spiritual platform, and Chang Hao rested his hand on the edge of the Qiankun Cauldron, looking out...

Yuanshi and Tongtian immediately looked over, their focus fixed on Hongjun's palm...

Wait a minute, Chang Hao found himself in Hongjun's palm, being held up by Hongjun and passively listening to the second sermon...

Chang Hao immediately withdrew his hand and submerged himself inside the Qiankun Cauldron. How embarrassing it would be if he were discovered! Didn't he care about his reputation?

As soon as Chang Hao woke up, Hongjun noticed him and tapped Chang Hao's forehead with his index finger. "Now that you're awake, why are you hiding?"

Chang Hao, feeling utterly hopeless, slapped away Hongjun's reckless index finger. He had become so small that Hongjun's fingertip was bigger than his head to him. This small gesture by Hongjun almost caused Chang Hao to sink to the bottom of the cauldron.

Hongjun softened his expression. "My disciples are ordained by Heaven. I have three personal disciples in my destiny: Laozi, Yuanshi," Hongjun paused, then reluctantly added Tongtian, "Tongtian, you all possess great wisdom, great understanding, and great perseverance. Would you three be willing to become my personal disciples?"

Chang Hao was already awake, but Hongjun didn't have the patience to spend time answering their questions. As the saying goes, "The master leads you through the door, but the cultivation is up to each individual." Hongjun secretly mocked himself, thinking that he had already lived up to the title of "sage."

"Yes, disciple pays respects to master..." The three Qing said in unison. They were master and disciple to begin with, and this was just a formality.

Chang Hao was happy for the Three Pure Ones. There were many benefits to becoming Hongjun's disciple, and the greatest opportunity should be the Primordial Purple Qi.

All the hopeful eyes in the hall were fixed on Hongjun, hoping that they could be on the list.

Chang Hao, however, looked towards Nuwa, who should also have a position of authority.

"From now on, you will be my personal disciple and must pass on my lineage and live up to the Daoist tradition." Hongjun needed the Three Pure Ones to pass on his Dao in the prehistoric world, not for himself, but solely for the sake of the little liar in his hands. He could not disregard the life and death of the prehistoric world.

"Yes, disciple will obey Master's command." The Three Pure Ones replied without hesitation, as it was only natural.

"All those who are fortunate enough to hear the Dao, and all those who cultivate the Dao that I transmit, are all members of my Daoist school." Hongjun continued to establish his Daoist lineage.

"It's the teacher..." Everyone was convinced.

Once the necessary procedures were completed, Hongjun dismissed them, saying, "Now that the greetings have been given, you may disperse. The sermon a thousand years from now is of utmost importance, so do not be absent."

Nuwa became anxious and said, "Master, I am Nuwa. Please accept me as your disciple."

Nuwa was unwilling to let such a great opportunity slip by. She possessed great wisdom, great understanding, and great perseverance, so why couldn't she become her teacher's disciple?

"Please, Master, have mercy on our difficult journey to the West and ferry my brother and me across..." Jieyin stepped forward and bowed, not wanting Nuwa to steal the spotlight.

Hongjun frowned, recalling the Western spiritual veins that he and Luo Hou had severed. He couldn't possibly feel guilty; the primordial world was nourished by the bodies of their demon gods, and the only reason Hongjun hadn't destroyed them was because he was powerless at the time.

The crowd wanted to plead with the teacher again. If they pleaded enough, perhaps the teacher would take pity on them? Why not give it a try? Cultivation is, after all, about defying fate.

Unfortunately, Hongjun was heartless and didn't want to listen to any nonsense. He directly "invited" all the beings listening to the Dao out of Zixiao Palace, while leaving Yaochi behind.

Chang Hao woke up faster than he expected. Hongjun had no energy to deal with irrelevant people. He was in a hurry for Chang Hao to remember on his own. Chang Hao had to deal with the Golden Crow family himself.

The scenery before everyone's eyes changed, and upon closer inspection, they realized they had been expelled from Zixiao Palace.

Seeing that the gates of Zixiao Palace were tightly closed, and that even the Three Pure Ones had been kicked out, the group had no choice but to leave dejectedly.

"Taiyi, I have a bad feeling," Dijun said in a distressed voice, "Teacher doesn't like me, but maybe I'm just being paranoid."

"I feel the same way." Taiyi, though seemingly rough, was actually quite perceptive. He had initially thought he was overthinking things, but since his elder brother also felt the same way, it couldn't be a misperception.

Emperor Jun was greatly alarmed and secretly decided that he needed to be more careful in his actions.

Nuwa looked back at Zixiao Palace, suppressing the anxiety rising in her heart. Urged by Fuxi, she left. There was still a third sermon to be given, and she would occupy one of the six prayer cushions, so there should be room for maneuver.

The guide smiled on the outside but was bitter inside. "Congratulations to the three fellow Daoists for finding such a good teacher. You will surely attain the Primordial Dao Fruit in the future." The teacher did not give them a chance to beg. It seems that it will be a long road to becoming a disciple.

Laozi saw Yuanshi looking at the gate of Zixiao Palace, his mind preoccupied with Chang Hao inside the Qiankun Cauldron. Was he injured?

Tongtian went straight to knock on the gate of Zixiao Palace, and the two completely ignored Jieyin's approach.

Lao Tzu had no choice but to speak on behalf of the Three Pure Ones: "Thank you for your kind words, fellow Daoist."

Laozi smiled but had no intention of wasting time with irrelevant fellow Daoists. "Shouldn't you be heading back to the mountain, fellow Daoist?"

"We dare not disturb the peace of our teacher here. My junior brother and I will take our leave now." The guide tactfully bid farewell and departed.

"Senior brother, they..." Zhunti was indignant. Why? They were all transformed from the bodies of Pangu after his death. Why did the Three Pure Ones rightfully take over everything?

"Junior brother, don't be rude. We'll talk about it when we get back." Jieyin directly pressed down on Zhunti. The Three Pure Ones already had reason to be arrogant, and now their arrogance was probably even greater.

The Three Pure Ones were already difficult to approach, and now they were even more powerful. Jieyin had a premonition that if he could not persuade his teacher to change his mind after the third sermon, he feared that a great opportunity would slip through his fingers.

"So annoying." Zhunti felt that his senior brother was good in every way, except that he was too timid and hesitant.

"Where is Yaochi?" Laozi looked around. Could it have been swallowed by Chaos? Please don't let that happen, or I won't be able to explain it to Chang Hao.

“He was left in Zixiao Palace by Master.” Tongtian had sharp eyes. Yaochi was not thrown out, and Chang Hao, whom Master cherished, was also in Zixiao Palace.
