Chapter 27 Rahu's Deception

Chapter 27 Rahu's Deception

After sorting and organizing all the spiritual treasures, Chang Hao picked up the God-Slaying Spear and planned to seal it in a place of supreme yang and holiness.

There are a few places of extreme Yang, but none of them seem to fit the concept of a sage. The Sun Star is feasible, but the Golden Crow cannot stop Rahu.

Chang Hao hesitated. Should he just bury him in the ground beneath his dormitory?

"It seems you're doing well." 'Hongjun,' dressed in purple robes, looked exactly as he had when they first met.

Chang Hao's heart clenched, and his breath caught in his throat for a moment. How could he have run into Hongjun here?

It wasn't that Chang Hao hadn't considered that it might be a disguise, but after a careful look, he found that the aura, the temperament, and even the tone of voice were all genuine.

"How did Luo Hou's God-Slaying Spear end up in your hands?" Hongjun asked. Last time, this person burned a post-natal supreme treasure. Unexpectedly, Chang Hao himself also had such enormous merits, which seemed to be comparable to the Three Pure Ones.

Strange, I didn't notice it last time at Zixiao Palace.

"It was taken from Rahu's hands." Chang Hao said each word slowly and deliberately, seemingly casual, but actually wary.

Times have changed. Chang Hao never deceived Hongjun; he only concealed things from him.

"Aren't you going back to Zixiao Palace yet?"

To Chang Hao's surprise, 'Hongjun' turned and left, certain that Chang Hao would follow him.

"Wait a minute..." Chang Hao called out to Hong Jun. Why would he follow Hong Jun back without explanation?

"When entering the mountain, look at its terrain; when entering, look at your own intentions." Chang Hao repeated his old saying, indicating that he was unwilling to be merely a gatekeeper in name only.

Hongjun pondered to himself, what did those words mean? Was it some kind of code? If he answered incorrectly and revealed his weakness, Chang Hao, whose identity was questionable and whose merits were astonishing, might go berserk again.

Hongjun remained calm and vaguely said, "This matter will not succeed."

Chang Hao took a deep breath. He wasn't eager to be hired; if this place didn't want him, there were plenty of other places that would.

“Hey…” Hongjun was getting impatient. Why did he turn around and leave after only a few words? “Wait, your temper is too bad.”

They could just pack up and go.

Hongjun should really come and see for himself; this is what you call a bad temper.

"I have a bad temper?" Chang Hao pointed at himself in disbelief, his eyes filled with suspicion as he looked at Hongjun.

Hongjun had a sudden inspiration and didn't beat around the bush. "Let's not talk about personal matters. I'm here for the God-Slaying Spear."

"You want to take it?" Chang Hao asked back.

"Not bad." Hongjun said calmly. Whether it would succeed or not depended on how much influence Hongjun had.

"What do you intend to do with it?" Chang Hao was unable to destroy it, and the God-Slaying Spear was not compatible with him. If Hongjun had the ability to destroy or subdue it, why not give it to Hongjun? It would be a way of repaying the kindness of pulling him out of chaos and giving him a pure land to protect him.

“Take it for my own use,” Hongjun glanced at his God-Slaying Spear, his heart aching. It hadn’t been long, and the God-Slaying Spear had already dimmed considerably. “If it fails, then destroy it.”

“Alright, the God-Slaying Spear is yours to handle,” Chang Hao said without further ado. “Since you are unwilling to take me as your disciple, I can no longer shamelessly return to your Zixiao Palace. Farewell.”

Chang Hao tossed the God-Slaying Spear aside and left gracefully, without any anger. He had expected this all along; he simply wanted a clear answer.

Hongjun was left there filled with regret for his missed opportunity to sow discord. So that's what it was about. Why didn't you say so earlier? Why did you have to play games? Now look what happened, Hongjun has escaped another disaster. If I had known, I would have agreed on Hongjun's behalf.

Luo Hou understood that Chang Hao's inherent arrogance was no less than Hongjun's, and that his anger and embarrassment would be the beginning of turning against him.

When Chang Hao and Hong Jun finally meet in the future, and Hong Jun turns his back on him and denies everything, that will be the real show. What a pity.

Luo Hou suppressed his urge to chase after him, silently reassuring himself: "You must stay calm. There's no way that Hongjun can catch up. He'd never be able to."

If you fail to provoke them and end up revealing your own whereabouts, you might end up with even more problems.

Having tricked Luo Hou into retrieving the God-Slaying Spear, he was now like a tiger with wings, unleashing a bloodbath in the prehistoric world. His cultivation level advanced by leaps and bounds, and he stared at the three races with eyes full of pleasure.

Chaos arose, a great calamity occurred, and the demonic path was established. He was the demon, and Hongjun was the righteous one. The righteous one foot higher than the demon, and the righteous and the demon could not coexist. From then on, he could establish a new realm and sect, become a saint and ancestor, and thus became the Demon Ancestor.

Luo Hou gazed at the calamity emanating from the primordial land, pondering when to close the market. However, before closing, it would be best to settle some grudges.

Having obtained several strands of Primordial Purple Qi in the primordial wilderness, Hongjun had already grasped the key to his sainthood.

Looking at the Jade Disc of Creation before him, Hongjun struggled with the decision: to merge with the Dao? He was extremely unwilling.

Hongjun had no shortage of courage to start over, but Heaven's way was incomplete; it would never give him a choice.

"Hongjun, how have you been lately?" Luo Hou turned the prehistoric world over and finally found Hongjun.

Looking at the drastically changed Rahu, Hongjun realized that his connection with Rahu was now negligible, and understood that the divination he had performed for himself when he separated Rahu was about to come true.

"Hongjun, it's time to settle things between us." Luo Hou looked at Hongjun with longing. If he absorbed this body, how powerful would he become? He might even be comparable to Pangu in his prime.

"The master is the master, and the follower is the follower. This is an unchangeable fact. Do you really think you can turn the world upside down?" Hongjun said dismissively.

However, as soon as the battle began, Hongjun realized that today's Rahu was not the Rahu of yesterday. With the inexhaustible supply of spiritual energy, if Rahu hadn't lacked the pressure of becoming a saint, Hongjun would have believed that he had already become a saint.

"Hongjun, today is your death day. No one can save you, and even the Heavenly Dao will extinguish your life." Luo Hou laughed wildly. Hongjun was, after all, a being from the Chaos. If there was any possibility of eliminating him, the Heavenly Dao would not be lenient. Otherwise, such a disgusting thing as the Jade Disc of Creation would not have appeared.

"If Heaven won't let me go, will it let you go?" Hongjun looked at him like he was an idiot. At least Heaven was willing to merge with him to make up for its incompleteness. What did Luo Hou have?

Luo Hou was a little annoyed. Hongjun had many magical treasures around him, but he couldn't break through them. He was furious. When pushed to the limit, he stopped pretending and used the aura of the Great Calamity to swirl around the God-Slaying Spear. He then stabbed it hard into a petal of the Golden Lotus of Merit.

"So, you're the one who stirred up the conflict between the Dragon and Phoenix clans." Hongjun understood immediately. No wonder Luo Hou was able to recover so quickly after being beaten half to death last time; he must have taken advantage of this momentum.

"So what if I am? Are you going to stand up for them?" Luo Hou asked with interest. "How come I didn't know you had become a primordial being?"

As they spoke, Luo Hou did not stop. The Zhuxian Sword Formation had already been set up in the distance. The four Zhuxian swords and the God-Slaying Spear worked together to force Hongjun into the sword formation.

Hongjun resisted Rahu's unstoppable attacks while enduring Rahu's piercing voice.

These words were extremely harsh. No matter what, Hongjun would never like the Primordial World. It was a Primordial World that was created by using the bodies of the Chaos Demon Gods as nourishment, and it was filled with the blood and tears of the Chaos Demon Gods.

“Noisy…” Hongjun frowned, and Luo Hou spoke as much as ever.

Luo Hou choked for a moment, then laughed in anger. His talkativeness was all thanks to Hongjun. Having gathered all of Hongjun's dark side, he naturally had nothing to do with good.

"You're so high and mighty. Don't forget, I am you. Your so-called 'severing the three corpses' is a joke. Look at you, what fun is there in your life?" Luo Hou directly attacked Hongjun personally with words, but unfortunately, it didn't bother Hongjun at all.
