Chapter 421 Goodbye
The Heavenly Dao gasped, frantically channeling spiritual energy. "He can't die! He can't die!!!"
Hongjun closed his eyes, for there was a divine will at play. He had only himself to blame and no one else was to blame. If they hadn't used their tricks, how could he have suffered this calamity?
Poor Zhunti and Jieyin, the two fools whom Hongjun unintentionally caught, were cursed with forgetfulness upon first meeting, and forgot Chang Hao completely.
The current Chang Hao is exactly the same as the face they last remembered. If they hadn't forgotten, they would have fled without a trace as soon as they saw Chang Hao's true face, instead of foolishly rushing up and almost being drained by a spiritual pearl.
A single drop of a saint's blood is worth more than a hundred or a thousand quasi-saints. The Primordial Pearl hovered around Chang Hao, thoroughly absorbing the saint's flesh and blood. This was the most satisfying meal he had ever had since his birth...
Seeing that things were not going well, Ran Deng turned and ran. The leader had already been captured, so what was the point of him making a fuss?
Unaware of what this meant, Zhou Jun simply assumed that the person opposite him possessed extraordinary magical power, capable of taking on a hundred opponents single-handedly.
However, for people like Ran Deng, this was tantamount to the sky falling. What was the point of fighting? Even a sage was no match for him; he was just an extra.
Chang Hao was already bloodthirsty; his sword energy pierced through the air, piercing through the lamp...
"Don't waste it, eat it all, even the master's can be eaten." Chang Hao drew his Cangmin sword. He gently wiped the bloodstains from his cheek, his icy eyes revealing a hint of tenderness.
He glanced at the wounds on his body from the battle; he was bleeding, so why not eat?
The Hongmeng Pearl flickered on and off, as if it were pondering, before obediently eating in accordance with Chang Hao's words. There was an eerie harmony between the two of them.
"Hiss..." Jin Ling gasped, "Senior Brother!!!"
Duobao's smile froze on his face. "Stop shouting, he's quite flustered too."
Duobao and Jinling never dreamed that they would be dealing with the Mountain Lord/His Majesty, and they dared not fight him.
Chang Hao, his eyes bloodshot and unable to control himself, slowly turned his gaze to the two men, glancing at Duobao for a moment before raising his sword again. Since they were here, they might as well stay…
"No..." Tongtian couldn't bear to look anymore. From the moment he saw Kong Xuan, he knew that his disciples were doomed.

The world is fleeting, time is but a passing moment. Having attained the Primordial Dao Fruit, one should be overjoyed, but Yuanshi felt no joy at all, only bewilderment, his heart filled with emptiness.
The bright moon shines like frost on the plum grove, where plum blossoms bloom eternally. I have always loved it and often lingered there, but now I see it as nothing special.
Kunlun is vast, yet Yuanshi felt lost and disoriented, his memory largely blank. How could his path to enlightenment be like this?
"Master!" Dao Xing Tianzun cried with joy. "Master, you've finally emerged from seclusion." That's wonderful! My fellow disciples are saved.
"Why are you in such a panic? This is undignified," Yuanshi Tianzun reprimanded calmly, his emotions indifferent and unwavering.
"Disciple knows his mistake," Dao Xing Tianzun dared not say more, and hurriedly said after admitting his mistake, "Master, several of my fellow disciples have been captured in Tongguan. Please go and save them."
Dao Xing Tianzun stared longingly at Yuan Shi Tianzun. You said you would rescue them and wouldn't find it troublesome, right?
"Useless." Yuanshi Tianzun was so annoyed that he wanted to expel his disciple from the sect.
Dao Xing Tianzun immediately knelt down, bowed his head and dared not say more, his heart filled with trepidation. If he had known that he had entered the formation, he would have asked his senior brother to come and invite their master, rather than returning to the mountain and facing one calamity after another.
Although Yuanshi Tianzun found it troublesome, he still rushed to Tongguan to retrieve his disciple.
Dao Xing Tianzun waited for a long time, then mustered his courage and looked up, only to find that there was no one there. Thank goodness, his master had gone to rescue people...
Chang Hao wielded two swords, his movements as graceful as a dragon or phoenix soaring through the sky. He had no regrets when he drew his sword, and he didn't care what these two were doing there. From his perspective, anyone who stood in front of him was an enemy. He would kill them if he could, and imprison them if he couldn't, to avoid causing trouble.
"We surrender!" Jin Ling shouted quickly, knowing that if she surrendered, they couldn't kill her.
Just when things were at their most critical, a cloud of auspicious light protected the two of them. A person arrived on the cloud, with white hair and black clothes. His features were elegant, but he exuded a distant and indifferent aura that kept people at a distance.
Chang Hao's eyes flickered slightly. "Yuanshi Tianzun, you really did come on your own. However, now is a bit untimely."
Chang Hao used his sword to strike the auspicious clouds of the heavens, and before Yuanshi Tianzun could stop him, he seized Duobao and Jinling.
Jinling and Duobao didn't resist, although they immediately locked eyes with their master upon entering.
"Master..." Duobao and Jinling called out guiltily, knowing it would be unkind to sit idly by and watch their master be trapped without rescuing him.
"Release my disciple." Yuanshi Tianzun stared coldly at Chang Hao, his pupils suddenly contracting as a strange emotion welled up in his heart.
"I won't let you go. If you're so capable, let Yuanshi Tianzun come and take it himself." Chang Hao put away the Human Emperor Sword, leaving only the Cangmin Sword in his hand. He had wanted to test Yuanshi Tianzun's combat power for a long time.
Although Yuanshi Tianzun didn't remember, Chang Hao didn't want to use the spiritual treasure he had given him to fight Yuanshi Tianzun.
Should we pretend to be outmatched and run away first? Then, we can lure Yuanshi Tianzun away, so that Zhou's army will enter Tongguan, and we can then trap them and beat them.
"Do you know who I am?" Yuanshi Tianzun was a little happy, feeling that his name sounded particularly pleasant coming from this person's mouth, and he wanted to hear it a few more times.
"Of course." Chang Hao raised an eyebrow, not missing the subtle expression on Yuanshi Tianzun's face. He was also a little happy. He hadn't expected that Yuanshi Tianzun truly loved him. His heart, which had been hanging in suspense, was finally at ease. He hadn't lost the person.
"Now that you know who I am, are you not afraid? Why do you still dare to declare war?" Yuanshi Tianzun stared at the person in front of him. Since his birth, this was the first time Yuanshi Tianzun had tried to make conversation, just because he didn't want to fight the person in front of him.
"If I were afraid, why would I issue a challenge to all the gods of heaven and earth, including you, Yuanshi Tianzun?" Chang Hao smiled. It felt quite nice to tease his confused sweetheart while knowing the truth all along.
"Who are you?" Yuanshi Tianzun asked softly, unconsciously concealing his sharp edges.
"It's not too late to ask after Yuanshi Tianzun has defeated me." Chang Hao was trying to lure Yuanshi Tianzun, even concealing his name. He was playing hard to get, being neither too close nor too distant.
"I will not fight the wounded," Yuanshi Tianzun said coldly, indicating that he would not take advantage of someone in distress. He stared at the numerous wounds on Chang Hao's body, his anger growing with each look. He blurted out a question: "Who injured him?"
“You didn’t hurt me,” Chang Hao replied, drawing his sword and unleashing a move called ‘A Glimmer of Hope’.
"A glimmer of hope? You are Tongtian's disciple?" Yuanshi Tianzun frowned, feeling extremely troubled. The Pangu Banner appeared in his hand, blocking Cangmin's sword.
"You could say that." Chang Hao raised an eyebrow. Even a disciple who betrays his master and ancestors is still a disciple.
Yuanshi Tianzun was secretly furious. What was wrong with Tongtian? How could someone like him not be taken into Kunlun Mountain?
"I asked your master for you, are you willing?" Yuanshi Tianzun asked, his mind racing, and these words came out of his mouth.
“Look, look, what are you pretending for, you two?” Although Tongtian had forgotten Chang Hao, he was too familiar with Yuanshi Tianzun. “I bet my second brother won’t be able to beat him up.”
"Master, please say less. It seems like Second Uncle has a problem." Jin Ling said solemnly.
