Chapter 276 Dream Interpretation

Chapter 276 Dream Interpretation

"Alright, this can be considered a way to make use of waste." Chang Hao poured his spiritual power into the Haotian Mirror, and the scene of Fuxi listening attentively to Xuandu's sermon appeared on the mirror.

Chang Hao was stunned for a moment, then asked incredulously, "What is Xuan Du doing?"

“Preach to Fuxi.” Yuanshi glanced at it; wasn’t this obvious?

Chang Hao couldn't bear to look at him. "But Fuxi doesn't need these things."

What Fuxi needed was to integrate the scattered human tribes into a powerful nation, to govern diligently, and to improve the living standards of the human race in terms of clothing, food, housing, and transportation... to promote the development or enlightenment of the human race in all areas. These were the things that Fuxi needed to do.

Humans have short lifespans, and Fuxi has devoted a great deal of energy to cultivating the Tao. When will he achieve perfect merit?

No wonder Fuxi was full of wisdom and could only achieve perfect merit in his later years. He did not do his proper work and went to meditate, completely neglecting his duties.

Yuanshi didn't understand why he accepted disciples without explaining the Dao. Why did he accept them?

"Fuxi wants to become the Human Emperor, but this position cannot be obtained through cultivation," Chang Hao explained simply, and then appeared in Fuxi's dream as Fuxi fell into a deep sleep.

The east wind brings warmth, and the flowers bloom like brocade. A peach tree is in full bloom, and the sound of the zither is like pearls bursting forth.

The young Fuxi glided forward, and the music that drifted from the shadows seemed familiar to him. Curiosity arose, and he wanted to see the wonderful sound.

There was no one under the peach tree, only a fifty-stringed zither that no one played. Peach blossoms drifted down, the strings trembled, and then fell silent.

Fuxi felt a pang of regret. He quickly walked to the peach tree, sat cross-legged on the ground, and placed the zither on his lap.

As he casually strummed the strings, captivated by the beautiful sound, the zither on his body suddenly turned into a pile of loose sand. The wind blew the sand around, almost blinding Fuxi.

Fuxi gasped, about to discard the loose sand, when he saw green suddenly appear on the sand. No matter how strong the wind and waves were, the yellow sand remained stable.

Fuxi seemed to be deep in thought, realizing that this dream was not simple. He respectfully placed the miniature oasis in his hand aside and carefully looked at everything around him.

The thatched cottage was clean and the bamboo house was quiet and secluded, hidden among the lush flowers and trees. There were also docile cattle and sheep in herds on the green land, which did not attack him when he came.

In the distance, a clear stream murmurs, with green belts lining both sides in a pleasing, staggered pattern. As Fuxi approaches for a closer look, he sees the plants laden with fruit.

Fuxi wanted to explore further, but he saw white mist swirling around him, and his vision was obscured by clouds and fog.

Startled, Fuxi woke up abruptly from his dream. Looking at the simple cave, he murmured to himself, "It was just a dream... such a vivid dream."

Fuxi recalled everything he had seen in his dream, and the more he thought about it, the more unusual the dream seemed. Everything he saw seemed to carry a specific meaning, as if someone was reminding him...

Chang Hao glared at Yuan Shi with annoyance, "Why did you stop me from showing myself?"

Chang Hao originally planned to first make friends with Fuxi through music, to lower Fuxi's guard, and then let Fuxi experience the joys of rural life. But now, it's a mystery how much Fuxi has grasped.

“I’m afraid Fuxi will fall in love at first sight, which will cause trouble in the future.” Yuanshi looked terrified. Fortunately, he was there to stop him. Otherwise, would he have just watched Fuxi and Chang Hao make friends through music?

Chang Hao was speechless for a moment, then gritted his teeth and said, "I'm not a spiritual treasure, so it's impossible for everyone to love me." Even if I were a spiritual treasure, I would still find the Haotian Mirror extremely annoying.

"That won't do either. You can only teach me the Way of the Qin, not Fuxi." Yuanshi was domineering and possessive.

"When did I ever teach you? Get this straight, Fuxi was an expert in this field." Chang Hao thought back carefully. He had stayed in Kunlun for a while, burned incense and played the zither in the plum forest, and read the Heart Sutra with Yuanshi Tongtian. He had never taught Yuanshi anything.

"You specially burned incense and tuned the zither for me," Yuanshi shamelessly patted himself on the back, "If you listen and watch more, you'll learn it."

At least the minor tunes that Chang Hao had played before, Yuan Shi was able to reproduce one by one with proper hand-eye coordination.

“The zither is for my own pleasure, not for yours,” Chang Hao said, reaching out to pinch Yuan Shi’s cheeks. “You’re not exactly thick-skinned.”

"Honestly...it seems I'll have to practice my zither skills diligently. I'm willing to please you." Yuan Shi's eyes changed slightly, and he quietly wrapped his arm around Chang Hao's slender waist, shifting his weight towards Chang Hao...

Chang Hao's pupils contracted, and unpleasant memories resurfaced in his mind. He wanted to expose Yuan Shi, but he fiercely restrained himself, staring directly at Yuan Shi's incomparably handsome face, feeling Yuan Shi's aura with his whole being. This is Yuan Shi, it's Yuan Shi, it's Yuan Shi...

Yuan Shi looked at Chang Hao, who lay obediently beneath him, and felt boundless affection for him. He was itching to do something, but when he saw Chang Hao staring at him, his unblinking eyes reflecting his image, as if Chang Hao was the only one in his eyes and heart, he felt infinitely satisfied and just wanted Chang Hao to look at him to his heart's content. All his little thoughts slowly disappeared.

The suggestion worked; Chang Hao's stiff body slowly softened, and he gently wrapped his arms around Yuan Shi, changing his posture and snuggling into Yuan Shi's embrace.

Yuanshi frowned. What was Chang Hao so uneasy about? Had his actions frightened him? His broad palm moved slowly across Chang Hao's back, the power of origin gently nourishing Chang Hao's body, trying to calm him down.

The chaotic past still occasionally flashes through Chang Hao's mind, but he can now distinguish between reality and illusion. He closes his eyes and quietly feels this sense of peace and tenderness.

Clearly feeling the primordial power flowing through his body, Chang Hao smiled knowingly, looked up and gently pecked the corner of Yuan Shi's lips, then buried his head in Yuan Shi's chest and hugged him even tighter.

Yuan Shi almost lost his breath, deeply regretting his lack of self-control. Chang Hao in his arms exuded a cool fragrance, while he was burning hot all over, a true case of experiencing both ice and fire, and he was quite tormented.

Chang Hao trusted him completely, and Yuan Shi couldn't just ignore it. No, if he didn't say something to distract him, Yuan Shi felt he would really betray Chang Hao's trust.

"Why were you staring at me like that just now?" Yuan Shi's mind was wandering. He kept reminding himself that Chang Hao was unwell and he shouldn't be reckless. He didn't want to scare him, so he didn't even dare to return a kiss, for fear of losing control.

“This is the first time I’ve realized how beautiful you are,” Chang Hao said lazily, releasing one hand to caress Yuan Shi’s jade-like face, “as if cut, polished, carved, and refined.”

Yuanshi was greatly surprised, "You only just realized? No, you need to look quickly, look more closely. In my heart, you are the most beautiful."

Chang Hao couldn't help but laugh, "Alright, alright, in my eyes you're the best looking too, okay?"

That's more like it. Yuanshi pulled Chang Hao back into his arms. How fortunate he was to have met the person in his arms, and how fortunate he was to have been favored by the person in his arms.

A sly glint flashed in Chang Hao's eyes as he pondered when Huang Long would deliver the items, his fingers playfully tapping randomly on Yuan Shi's body.

Yuanshi grasped Chang Hao's mischievous hand with difficulty, his voice low, "Don't move." Little ancestor, I really can't take it anymore.
