Chapter 6: Love from afar, don't worry

After Jiang Nian answered the phone, he heard the deep and magnetic voice of Yuushi Ozaki.

"Jiang Nian, my aunt asked me to bring you some things. I won't be able to give them to you until after 5pm tomorrow."

After the call ended, Jiang Nian explained the matter to his grandmother.

The next day, Jiang Nian opened his eyes, got up, and washed up as usual. It was 6:30 in the morning.

After Jiang Nian went downstairs, he saw that his grandmother had just placed their breakfast - two bowls of vegetarian noodles - on the table.

When grandma saw Jiang Nian coming downstairs, she greeted him with a smile on her face: "Come and have dinner."

Jiang Nian quickly went to the table and started eating. There's an old saying that goes, "If you're not active while eating, there's something wrong with your thinking."

While enjoying the food, Jiang Nian discovered that the original body, Wei Qi Jiang Nian, was almost the same as himself in terms of life and making friends, except for the curl.

After breakfast, Jiang Nian took his grandmother to the station and took out the envelope he had prepared last night and handed it to her, asking her to read it after returning home.

In the envelope was a letter and 20,000 yen. Although his father was no longer around, he had to take on the responsibility of being filial to his grandmother. Although 20,000 yen was not a lot, it was the most money Jiang Nian could have left after calculation.

Jiang Nian walked slowly on the way home, holding a high school English test paper he had done last night in his hand, reciting the article in it over and over again.

There was some bread in my bag that I bought on the way, so my lunch was solved.

Jiang Nian walked and stopped as he pleased, not caring about the curious, surprised, contemptuous looks from passers-by.

There is no need to change other people's ideas. Just stick to your own correct path and let others talk.

It was already two o'clock in the afternoon when Jiang Nian got home. The breeze was blowing and the sun was shining brightly. It was a good time to study.

Unconsciously, Jiang Nian has adapted to the learning pace of his original self, Wei Qi Jiang Nian, and has also felt the fulfillment and happiness that learning brings.

If you are not a genius, then work hard and one day you will get your own results.

At 5:30 in the afternoon, a "gurgling" sound came from Jiang Nian's stomach. Jiang Nian, who was immersed in studying, had to stop studying and make some food to fill his stomach.

In the kitchen, Jiang Nian looked at the leftover rice from yesterday, thinking of heating it up and mixing it with some soy sauce.

Just as Jiang Nian was about to eat, the doorbell rang, and the person who came was indeed Ozuki Yuushi.

Looking at the large and small bags in Yuushi Oshizuka's hands, Jiang Nian immediately took them and said apologetically, "There are so many things. I should have picked them up from you."

Oshizuka Yuushi said indifferently: "It's okay, I took a taxi here."

Ozuki Yuushi thought to himself, "How can I possibly walk here with so many things? It's not like I don't have money."

Jiang Nian thought, "You really don't understand the happiness of the rich. Taxi fares in Japan are so expensive, they're nothing to the rich."

After settling them, Oshizuka Yuushi immediately explained: "My parents came to Tokyo last night, and your mother asked my parents to bring these to you."

At this time, Jiang Nian had already understood his mother's difficulties, and he only felt heartache and longing for her.

"Thank you, cousin."

Yuushi Ozuki looked at Jiang Nian's moved expression and felt happy for the mother and daughter.

"You're welcome. Come and see what goodies your aunt brought you."

At the urging of Yuushi Ozaki, Jiang Nian opened one of the packages, and what came into view was a latest model mobile phone.

The mobile phone was something Jiang Nian had been wanting for a long time but couldn't bear to buy. When Jiang Nian saw it, he was so happy that he flew away.

Others contained some books, scrolls, etc., another package contained two sets of clothes and shoes, and others contained some seasonal fruits and dried meat.

After seeing this, Jiang Nian finally felt the long-lost love of his mother.

After Yuushi Ozuki left, Jiang Nian couldn't wait to open his phone and save all the contact information he knew into it.

Jiang Nian sent text messages to his mother and grandmother respectively, thanking his mother and telling his grandmother that he now had a cell phone and could call her anytime.

Then I quickly finished my rice with soy sauce and started my learning journey.

The next day, Monday.

Jiang Nian got up and washed up as usual, and it was exactly 6:30. With plenty of time in the morning, Jiang Nian began a new round of memorizing English reading passages.

In between reciting, I ate the sandwiches my mother brought me.

Once again I felt my mother's love.

After feeling the emptiness of Sunday morning, it seems that there are especially many office workers, students and other passers-by on Monday morning.

The only person who was not concentrating on walking and was talking to himself in English was Jiang Nian.

The pedestrians were all walking hurriedly and attentively, and Jiang Nian felt out of place among them.

After seeing Jiang Nian, one of the two students whispered, "You're studying so hard on the way here, are you just putting on a show?"

Another person replied: "I think it's possible. I'm so different from everyone else, I'm almost an outlier."

When these voices reached Jiang Nian's ears, Jiang Nian seemed not to hear them and continued to recite the short article softly.

Reciting softly does not affect other people's walking. All you have to do is do what you want to do, regardless of the joy or sorrow of others.

After entering the school, he changed his shoes, went into the classroom, sat in his seat and continued to complete the tasks he had set. Jiang Nian was the only one in the class.

Once you have a firm grasp of the knowledge points, your speed in answering questions will naturally increase, and the questions will be very simple for you.

When most people arrived, Jiang Nian had just finished checking the answers. "The elementary school questions are as easy as taking something out of a bag for me now," Jiang Nian thought.

Jiang Nian stretched and saw Sakuragi Yuzi and Chiba Shuji enter the class. He thought about telling them about the incident with Ohno Nana.
