Xiyan stood quietly beside Xiao Nanyue, with her pretty neck lowered.
The eyes of everyone in the hall were attracted by the snow-white figure as if by a magnet.
The snow-white gauze skirt with evening primroses embroidered with silver thread on the hem seemed to sway with dew in the candlelight, like mist condensed from moonlight, against a backdrop of her exquisitely beautiful face, as if a fairy from the Yaochi Lake came walking on the moon.
Muffled gasps filled the air. Some of the women covered their faces with round fans, and where their eyes glanced, it seemed as if broken jade had burst apart.
On the prince's seat, the second prince Helian Yu closed the ivory folding fan in his hand with a "swish", and whispered with the third prince Helian Chuan and the fourth prince Helian Ye beside him. Xiyan knew that they were talking about her.
Xiyan lowered her eyes, hiding the sneer in her eyes, her face as cold as ice.
However, Xiao Nanyue in front of him suddenly tightened his fingers around the Ru kiln teacup.

As soon as Xiyan heard the woman's tone, she guessed that the gorgeously dressed woman in front of her must be Princess Tianqi Helian Shu.
Xiyan's guess was correct. This woman was Helian Cong's eldest daughter Helian Shu. She and the crown prince Helian Feng were both born to Queen Cui Qinyao and had noble status.

Xiao Nanyan remained calm and moved sideways to avoid her arm around him. The python-patterned cuffs brushed against the coral bracelet on her wrist, making a rustling sound.
