"Shut up." Mo Linyuan raised his hand and rubbed his temples. This person was really too noisy. After saying that, he turned around and left.
Upon seeing this, Feng Qingge sighed and said, "Fine, shut up then."
After the two left the courtyard, Mo Linyuan instructed his guards to dispose of the two servants' corpses in the mansion, and then led Feng Qingge to the front hall.
Outside the hall, the butler and Qi Quan were waiting. Upon seeing the two return, they each went to greet them.
"Young Master." Qi Quan followed behind Feng Qingge, readily agreeing.
Seeing his master's unpleasant expression, the steward dared not utter a word, lest he anger him further.
The four entered the hall. Mo Linyuan sat at the head of the table, while Feng Qingge reclined comfortably in her chair, looking incredibly languid. Coupled with her captivatingly beautiful face, she resembled a cat.
"Oh, Your Highness, you should really think about what I'm saying." And she had seen it with her own eyes.
“Draw a picture of the woman you saw.” If you have a portrait, it will be easier to find.
Once her identity from her previous life is discovered, everything will become clear.
Upon hearing this, Feng Qingge immediately sat up straight, a hint of a smile in her eyes. Did this person believe her?
"Bring me pen and ink." She raised an eyebrow, but she wasn't being polite.
Upon hearing this, the steward glanced at his master and then withdrew.
A short while later, he came in carrying the Four Treasures of the Study.
The housekeeper placed the items one by one on the small table next to Feng Qingge for her use.
Feng Qingge took the brush, unfolded the Xuan paper, frowned and thought for a moment, then put down the brush tip and began to paint.
Because of her skill in makeup, she also honed her painting skills. The women she painted were so lifelike that their every smile and frown seemed to leap off the page.
Even though she only met the woman once, Feng Qingge clearly remembered her appearance. Although she was not a stunning beauty, she was pretty and charming. However, her upturned eyebrows ruined her peaceful demeanor, making her look fierce.
"Alright, Your Highness, take a look and see if you recognize it?" He picked up the painting and turned it around to show Mo Linyuan.
Mo Linyuan frowned, unable to recall who this person was. "Never seen her before." His voice was icy. Even if he had seen her before, he wouldn't have paid any attention to her, let alone this woman.
Feng Qingge scoffed, guessing that he was definitely not interested in people and therefore had never remembered anyone. "You must have seen them, you just forgot." The woman's appearance said it all.
"So what if I've seen it before?" He couldn't recall that he hadn't seen it before.
Feng Qingge chuckled, "Not so much." Her heartless demeanor would move anyone who saw it; no wonder so many women are willing to be moths to a flame.
"Order someone to make several copies of the portrait. Check it." Mo Linyuan placed his fingers on the table and tapped them lightly, rhythmically, as if it were a habit.
The steward accepted the order, took the portrait from Feng Qingge's hand, and then withdrew.
She paints very well, better than any of the painters in the royal palace, so all that's needed is for people to copy her work.
Afterwards, Feng Qingge smoothed out the wrinkles on her long robe, stood up, and said, "Your Highness, farewell. Remember to inform me if there is any news tomorrow." Without waiting for the people in the hall to react, she walked out.
"Little Qi, let's go." With his hands behind his back, he was tall and slender, his dark hair flowing down the back of his dark red robe, exuding a bewitching charm.
"Your Highness, this servant takes his leave." Qi Quan was not as bold as his master; he greeted him before leaving.
Mo Linyuan ignored the two women and left the hall after they were gone, returning to his own courtyard.
