Chapter 6 The Origin of Light Song

I vividly remember that the first person I saw when I opened my eyes was Feng Cang, whose face held a complex mix of joy and a hint of barely perceptible sadness.

His first words were, "Qingge, let's call her Feng Qingge." It seemed to be a sigh, a sadness, and as for what else, she didn't understand at the time.

But later she understood. Her birth was something that a beautiful woman had given her life for.

That person was the original owner's mother, and also Feng Cang's wife, his only wife. Even though she had been gone for a long time, Feng Cang never remarried, which shows how much he loved that woman.

When she was born, her eyes were an unusual color, a strange red, with empty pupils. These unusual pupils terrified many people. But only she knew that this was the normal version of her, just like in her previous life.

On that very day, a monk came to her residence and offered to take her as his disciple. This was because she resembled the man he had described so much. Thus, she became his personal disciple and a lay disciple of the Brahma Temple.

It was precisely because of her unusual eyes that she had to conceal her identity for many years.

This is because, as the master once said, this child must be raised as a boy and must cultivate masculine strength in order to live a peaceful life.

As a woman, she is inherently Yin, so the skill her master passed on to her was pure Yang internal energy. Using Yang to control Yin is the best method.

With her birth, her mother passed away, and she, who was originally a woman, could only wear men's clothing to deceive the world.

However, Feng Qingge was quite happy to be a man. The ancient etiquette was all too complicated, and if she were to revert to her true nature and become a sheltered young lady, she would never be able to do it. It was fine now; she could freely do whatever she wanted.

However, Feng Cang, who is also her adoptive father, has felt wronged and guilty for many years, even though she has never felt wronged.

As I walked back to the courtyard, I found that Qi Quan was already waiting there.

"Young master, did the master summon you again?" Sigh, those people outside are really something. What does it matter to them what the young master does? All they do is gossip.

“This has to happen every day. Come on, come on, let’s go eat Tianxianglou’s crispy duck. I’ve been craving it these past few days.” Feng Qingge raised an eyebrow, not caring much. She knew that Feng Cang wasn’t blaming her, but rather blaming himself.

"Oh, right, young master, Fengxue asked me to give this to you." The foot that was about to step out was suddenly pulled back, as he suddenly remembered that there was something important.

"Give it to me." What's wrong with Fengxue now? It's only been a few days since I went to the painting studio, why are you rushing me like this?

Qi Quan quickly took out the letter and handed it to Feng Qingge, then waited aside, his eyes constantly glancing at the letter, wanting to see what it said. He had been curious all the way there.

Something that can make even wind and snow take a serious stance must be no small matter.

Feng Qingge took the letter, glanced at it quickly, and read it clearly in a flash.

"Young Master, what did you write?" Qi Quan was extremely curious, especially seeing the serious look on his young master's face after reading it.

He raised an eyebrow, curled his lips into a wicked smile, and said, "Oh dear, what a hassle! I hate trouble more than anything." With a flick of his wrist, the letter in his hand instantly turned to dust.

Qi Quan shuddered at the sight. That smile, again. The young master always had this treacherous smile that made people unconsciously afraid.

…………

Silence remained. Qi Quan looked up at him, then cautiously spoke, his voice tinged with doubt, "Young Master?"

"Looks like today's crispy duck has flown away again, oh well." Feng Qingge put her hands behind her back and shook her head regretfully.

"Xiao Qi, go get ready, another business has come in." And it's a big business, haha, how interesting.

Qi Quan was taken aback, but then quickly came to his senses and understood what the business meant. It was that matter, no wonder the young master looked like that.

"Okay, sure." After saying that, she turned around and ran off in a flash.
