Chapter 122 Purification Spell

Chapter 122 Purification Spell

Slightly taken aback, Feng Qingge almost spat out her drink. She guessed right? She really was picked up!

"By the way, Master, what should we do about that female demon?" Actually, her real intention was to save her.

Clearly, Shi Kong knew this too, otherwise he wouldn't have been waiting for her at the mountain gate so early in the morning.

"Bring her in." His blue monk's robes fluttered as he turned and entered a room—the room where he often meditated on Nianchan.

Feng Qingge nodded, her face serious. Every time she was in front of Shi Kong, she would put away her wickedness and no longer had any air of a spoiled brat.

He helped the woman inside and, following Shi Kong's instructions, placed her on a prayer mat on the ground.

Two yellow futons came together, and the demoness lay sprawled on them, barely breathing, as if she were about to lose her breath.

Shi Kong stepped forward, sat cross-legged in front of the female demon, and with just one glance, he noticed the unusual thing about her.

"Did Ge'er use a purification spell on her?" No wonder the female demon couldn't withstand it.

"Yes, Master." Feng Qingge glanced at the pale, bloodless woman and sighed.

He intended to use a purification spell to remove the bloodlust and murderous intent from her body, but it backfired. Because she carried too much resentment, the purification spell could only suppress it and had no effect.

"So be it, so be it, he was a pitiful person too." Shi Kong put his hands together, sighed, closed his eyes, and was surrounded by Buddhist light.

Immediately afterwards, a string of obscure and difficult-to-understand scriptures flowed from his mouth, and then, Shi Kong's whole body radiated golden light, which then enveloped the female demon.

Upon seeing this, Feng Qingge stepped out and closed the door behind her.

"Young Master?" Qi Quan hurriedly went to greet Feng Qingge when he saw her come out.

"What? Getting impatient?" He smiled faintly, his previous serious expression gone, now reverting to the debauched and wicked demeanor of a young master.

Qi Quan shook his head, looking at her expectantly. "Young Master, are you really going to save that monster? What if she causes trouble again after she recovers?" He was very worried about this, because the monster showed them no gratitude whatsoever.

"No." She shook her head slightly, her voice calm but firm.

Qi Quan looked at her strangely, wondering why she was so sure, but wisely didn't ask.

The little girl named Su'er stared at the two of them, looking left and right. Her big eyes seemed to be looking at something, but it was clear that she was looking at Feng Qingge the most.

Not long after, the door creaked open, and Shi Kong, dressed in a blue monk's robe, walked out. Unlike his previous indifference, he now looked tired and more human.

"I have purified the resentment in her body with the Tathagata Sutra. You can stay here for the next few days until her resentment is completely purified, and then we will make further plans." Shi Kong's handsome face showed signs of fatigue. After saying this, he returned to his room, presumably to rest.

Feng Qingge agreed to his request and stayed at the temple. Remembering the carriage down the mountain and the things she hadn't told the family, she sent Qi Quan back.

Qi Quan accepted the order, hurriedly went down the mountain, picked up the carriage, and returned home.

Originally intending to let the female demon leave once she recovered, Feng Qingge stayed on the mountain. For the past two days, Shi Kong would come to purify the female demon's demonic energy and resentment every morning and evening.

Feng Qingge, however, had nothing to do and couldn't offer any help, so she went to play with the little monks. She had only seen those little monks once a year in previous years, and now that they had only met a few days later, she was naturally happy to see them again.

Since much of the snow in the courtyard had melted, leaving only small patches, the young monks no longer needed to shovel snow; they could simply practice martial arts in the open space.
