"How is it?" On the soft couch beside the stove, Feng Qingge hugged a blanket, languid like a cat, glancing sideways at Qi Quan.
"Didn't find it," Qi Quan replied, then picked up his chopsticks and began to wolf down his food.
He had been out for less than two hours, and the information he had gathered was limited. Moreover, there were very few people on the road, so he couldn't get any useful information at all.
After a short while, Qi Quan finished eating and drinking, then looked up at the lazy man again and said, "Hmm, by the way, I just saw that the Prince also just returned. I wonder what they went out to do?" He took a sip of tea, cleared his mouth, and asked curiously.
"You still have the mind to be curious about others? Just eat yours." Stepping off the soft couch, holding a small hand warmer in her hand, she picked up a piece of pastry and stuffed it into the mouth of the talkative person.
"Mmm." Before Qi Quan could react, a pastry was stuffed into his mouth. He tasted it carefully and found it to be soft and chewy, delicious.
Feng Qingge opened the door and walked out, while the door opposite hers opened at the same time.
For a moment, Mo Linyuan and Feng Qingge looked at each other in surprise.
"Good morning, Your Highness." Unlike yesterday, he didn't address her by her full name; instead, he was in a very good mood.
Mo Linyuan raised an eyebrow, his features no longer cold and hard. "It's getting late, it's already past noon."
"Hehe." He was so serious that it was impossible for him to make a joke.
Feng Qingge could only give a dry laugh before turning around and walking downstairs.
Mo Linyuan turned around and followed her downstairs.
The two found a window seat in the inn's lobby and sat down.
The shopkeeper was also bored, so he brought out a pot of tea and poured it for the two of them.
These two are wealthy men; we can't afford to offend them, so we have to serve them carefully.
"Shopkeeper, do you know where the Lin family of Jinzhou is located?" Feng Qingge picked up her teacup and tilted her head to look at him.
The shopkeeper, though middle-aged, was lean and thin, his plain face full of doubt. "Young master, there are quite a few people with the surname Lin in Jinzhou. May I ask which one you are referring to?"
"I heard he's a wealthy businessman in Jinzhou, quite famous, did you know?" Feng Qingge frowned. Feng Xue had only mentioned that the man surnamed Lin was a rich man, but she forgot to ask Feng Xue anything else. What a blunder.
Upon hearing her words, the shopkeeper understood, "You're talking about Master Lin, right? He's the richest man in Jinzhou."
“It seems to be him.” Feng Qingge nodded. She had heard from Feng Xue that the man surnamed Lin had quite a high status in Jinzhou.
"What is it? Does the young master have something important to discuss with Master Lin?" The shopkeeper knew they came from the capital and must be of high status, but he didn't know what business they had with Master Lin, so he asked out of curiosity.
Feng Qingge raised an eyebrow and smiled, "It's nothing, I just heard it from others and couldn't help but be curious."
The shopkeeper, unsuspecting, nodded repeatedly. "Oh, I see." He picked up the teapot and poured her more tea. For a moment, the two of them forgot that Mo Linyuan was sitting opposite them.
After refilling the tea, seeing that Feng Qingge probably had no more questions, the shopkeeper withdrew.
"What do you want with Lin Yong?" Suddenly, Mo Linyuan, who was sitting opposite her, spoke, his dark eyes fixed on her.
Feng Qingge paused in her teacup, quickly raising her eyes to look at the handsome and flawless man. "You know him?" But upon reflection, she wasn't surprised. Given his status, he could find out anything if he wanted to.
"Lin Yong is the richest man in Jinzhou. His family is in the porcelain business, and every year the finest pieces from the kiln are sent to the palace." So it's not surprising that people know him.
