Chapter 124 Demanding Justice

The next day, Mu Weiliang was summoned to the Imperial Study by imperial decree.

As soon as Mu Weiliang entered, he felt something coming towards him and dodged it.

Looking down, oh, a new inkstone. This old man has quite a lot of inkstones.

Upon seeing him enter, Mu Tianqi roared, "Kneel down before me!"

Mu Weiliang ignored him, casually found a seat, and straightened her clothes: "Sorry, I've never knelt before."

Knowing his character, Mu Tianqi asked directly, "Tell me, did you poison the other residences?"

Mu Weiliang picked up a grape from the table next to her and took a bite: "Do you have any evidence?"

Mu Tianqi: "If it's not you, then who is it? All the other households have been poisoned, but you haven't. Moreover, they were all fine before you came back, but they were poisoned after you returned. How do you explain that?"

"What's there to explain? You can say they conspired to slander me, or you can say they offended someone else. Besides, isn't there still Mu Yanzheng's household that wasn't poisoned?"

Mu Tianqi slammed his fist on the table: "You're talking nonsense! Who would poison them all at the same time? Besides, how do you know the Second Prince's household wasn't poisoned?"

Mu Tianqi spat out the grape skins from his mouth: "How I knew is none of your concern. If there's nothing else, I'll head back now; I'm busy."

After Mu Weiliang finished speaking, she turned and left.

Mu Tianqi pointed at him angrily: "You come back to me."

Mu Weiliang turned her head: "Is there anything else?"

"The matter hasn't been clarified yet, where are you going?"

Mu Weiliang turned around: "If you have evidence, arrest me; if you don't, goodbye."

Before Mu Tianqi could speak, Mu Weiliang walked out of the Imperial Study, only to hear the sound of things being smashed inside the Imperial Study behind her.

Mu Weiliang gave a cold laugh and continued walking forward.

When Qianxun saw Mu Weiliang come out, she quickly stepped forward and asked, "Your Highness, did the Emperor make things difficult for you?"

Mu Weiliang put her arm around his shoulder: "He has no evidence, so why is he making things difficult for me?"

Chihiro nodded: "Your Highness is right. Besides, I do things very cleanly and efficiently, so how could anyone find fault with me?"

Mu Weiliang tightened her grip on his neck: "You still say that, although this matter was handled well, next time you should go all out and do it, do you hear me?"

Chihiro asked, puzzled, "Your Highness means...?"

Mu Weiliang whispered something in his ear.

A moment later, Qianxun stared wide-eyed at Mu Weiliang. Good heavens, His Highness is ruthless! He only wanted to make them suffer a little, but His Highness intends to cut off their lineage! His Highness is brilliant!

"Your Highness, next time, Chihiro will listen to you."

Mu Weiliang smiled and said, "Come on, I'll take you out for a big meal. I'm happy today."

Chihiro rubbed her hands excitedly: "Your Highness, can I choose the place and then order the food?"

Mu Weiliang nodded: "Of course, consider it your reward."

"Oh yeah, let's go, Your Highness, hurry up!"

Qianxun grabbed Mu Weiliang and ran towards the outside of the palace.

Arriving at Zhuyuelou, the largest restaurant in India, Mu Weiliang stepped inside.

This kid has a good eye for location; he actually chose Mu Yanzheng's territory. This Zhu Yue Lou is comparable to the Ming Yue Lou in the Qinglong Kingdom; the things inside are very expensive. It seems Qianxun wants to vent her anger.

Let him be.

As soon as Mu Weiliang entered, the shopkeeper quickly led him upstairs.

Although the master and His Highness the Crown Prince don't get along, His Highness is still the Crown Prince, and his status is what it is. Besides, restaurants don't do business, and they don't usually turn people away.

Upon entering the private room, Mu Weiliang sat down and asked, "Did the second brother come today?"

The innkeeper shook his head: "The master is not in the restaurant today."

We must never say that our master will be meeting with some people at the restaurant; we must not let His Highness the Crown Prince know.

"I'm just asking, I'm not going to do anything, there's no need for you to be so nervous, shopkeeper. I'm just here to eat, so please bring me one of all your signature dishes."

The innkeeper hesitated. Could the two of them finish all of their signature dishes? Besides, the prince didn't usually pay when he came to eat; it would be such a waste if they couldn't finish.

Seeing that he didn't move, Mu Weiliang said sarcastically, "What, are you afraid that I, the Crown Prince, can't afford to pay you?"

The shopkeeper quickly shook his head: "No, no, Your Highness, you misunderstand. We have too many signature dishes. We were just worried that Your Highness and His Highness might not be able to finish them and it would be a waste."

Chihiro retorted, "Why do you care about any of this? Just do what I tell you to do."

The shopkeeper accepted the order and left.
