As Feng Qinghuang walked, she wondered if she had destroyed the secret realm during her visit. The large tree had collapsed before, and the cave had disappeared today. It seemed like she was the one causing the destruction.
Feng Qinghuang, carrying Xiaobao, ran a long way away, far from the cave she had just been in.
Feng Qinghuang, panting heavily, asked Xiaobao, "There shouldn't be any danger now, right?"
Xiao Bao gripped Feng Qinghuang's clothes tightly with its two front paws, as if afraid that it would escape, and its head had already burrowed inside her clothes.
"Master, why is there danger?"
Feng Qinghuang, trying to catch her breath, said, "Didn't the cave collapse just now? I was worried that the commotion would attract other large magical beasts, wasn't it?"
Xiao Bao poked his head out: "No way, no magical beasts dare to go to the former master's cave, otherwise the former master would have rewarded them with pills."
After hearing Xiao Bao's words, Feng Qinghuang was immediately relieved. Well, it was all for nothing.
Feng Qinghuang was tired from running, so she found a big tree, sat down to rest, drank some water, and fed some to her cubs.
"My dear, who was your previous owner? Was he from this continent?"
Xiao Bao shook his head: "I don't know. I've been following my former master since I became conscious, and my former master has always lived in the cave."
Feng Qinghuang nodded. She had lived in the cave for twenty years, but she had never heard of any members of the Xuanyuan clan in these countries. Moreover, they were alchemists; she shouldn't have been unaware of them.
Never mind, I can't figure it out. Maybe she's just ignorant.
"Xiao Bao, tell me, what can you do?"
Xiao Bao's former owner, given his immense abilities, why would he take in a glutton like Xiao Bao? Was it because he had been lonely for a long time and wanted to keep a little guy company? Or was Xiao Bao simply extraordinary?
Xiao Bao covered his face with both hands: "I can eat."
Feng Qinghuang remained speechless. "I know you'll eat, so let's talk about something else."
Seeing that Feng Qinghuang didn't speak, Xiao Bao quickly added, "I also know how to find medicinal herbs. All the treasures in my previous master's herb field were dug up by me."
"Oh, where was it dug up?"
Xiao Bao looked at Feng Qinghuang with a puzzled expression: "Of course it was dug up in this secret realm."
Feng Qinghuang clenched her fists. How could this little guy be so infuriating? Of course I know it was dug up in this secret realm. I'm asking you, where in the secret realm?
Feng Qinghuang took a deep breath: "Does Xiaobao remember where it was dug in this secret realm? Can you take me there?"
Xiao Bao nodded: "Okay, but there are big snakes in that place, it's scary."
How big?
Xiao Bao waved his little paw: "So big."
Feng Qinghuang witnessed Xiao Bao clear a space with a wave of its paw. Well, in Xiao Bao's eyes, everything is big; after all, it's only the size of her palm. She shouldn't have asked, nor should she have placed any hope in Xiao Bao. Feng Qinghuang felt her patience was running out. This little guy, could it be that it learned this from its former owner, always leaving things unsaid?
Feng Qinghuang took out some pastries from her spatial storage and coaxed, "Little Bao, after you finish these pastries, how about we go dig for herbs?"
Xiao Bao's eyes are now glued to the pastries, and he'll agree to anything Feng Qinghuang says.
"Yes, yes, Master."
After Xiao Bao finished speaking, he couldn't wait to grab the snacks and start eating them heartily.
Seeing its anxious expression, Feng Qinghuang couldn't help but chuckle. Had she been starving it? It always reacted like this whenever it saw food. Feng Qinghuang even wondered how its tiny body could possibly hold so much food!
Feng Qinghuang woke up Xiaohua and Tuanzi again and gave them some food. It was almost noon, and the two little ones needed to eat.
She didn't feel hungry, she just ate a few bites.
After finishing his snack, Xiao Bao stretched out his paw for Feng Qinghuang to wipe it. Ever since Feng Qinghuang wiped it after the first time it ate, it had remembered it, and so it would do the same thing every time it finished eating.
Feng Qinghuang doted on it and served it tirelessly. Feng Qinghuang felt that she had already started living the life of a maid ahead of time.
Tuanzi and Xiaohua consciously returned to their wrists and continued to twirl them.
He placed Xiaobao on her shoulder: "Alright, now let's go dig for herbs. And we can't miss the treasures along the way either."
Since we're already here, we might as well dig!
Xiao Bao squatted on her shoulder and patted his little paws: "Mmm, okay, Master, let's go!"
As the sound faded, Feng Qinghuang's figure gradually disappeared at the edge of the forest.
It was noon, and the woods were quiet, with only the chirping of insects and the rustling of leaves in the breeze.
