Chapter 20 Uncle, Please Hold Your Legs (17)

After Junli woke up, the nanny brought her some hangover soup. She wasn't drunk at all, and she didn't like drinking that kind of thing. The nanny was staring at her, so Junli said unhappily, "You go out first. I'll drink it later."

Of course, the nanny didn't think about what Junli was going to do, so she went out.

After she went out, she slapped her head in frustration. The girl her husband brought home was not a girlfriend at all, but a relative who moved in last night. Fortunately, she did not say anything careless, otherwise she would most likely be fired by her husband.

The nanny breathed a sigh of relief and patted her chest, and then Cheng Qi appeared in front of her.

This almost scared her to death. Seeing her panic, Cheng Qi frowned and wanted to say something, but was afraid of attracting Jun Li's attention, so he had to wave his hand and let her go.

The nanny felt relieved and fled away.

After the nanny left, Jun Li threw back the quilt and got out of bed. Just as she was about to get the hangover soup on the bedside table, the door opened and Cheng Qi's voice rang out from behind her: "What are you doing?"

She retracted her hand, turned to face Cheng Qi, and said with a smile: "What else can I do? Of course, I'll drink the hangover soup."

Seeing her calm look, Cheng Qi finally let go of the last stone in his heart. She had called him before, and he thought she had sobered up at that time. He had not yet figured out how to explain it to her, but it turned out that she didn't remember what happened when she was drunk at all.

Seeing Cheng Qi's expression, Jun Li changed her mind instantly.

She didn't really want to drink the hangover soup, but...

She picked up the bowl and drank the hangover soup in one gulp. It didn't taste very good, but it wasn't bad either. After drinking it, she stuck out her tongue and licked the water stains on her lips.

The doer was unintentional, but the spectator was intentional. Her action directly stimulated Cheng Qi's visual nerves, especially since he had just kissed her in the afternoon. When he saw Jun Li doing this action, his fingers curled up unconsciously, clenched into fists and hung at his sides.

When Jun Li put down the bowl, she glanced at him, and when she noticed that Cheng Qi was acting strangely, her smile deepened a little.

Cheng Qi also saw the smile on her lips, and his heart relaxed a little. Then, just as he relaxed, he saw Jun Li's mouth drooping. She seemed very restrained, her delicate toes rubbing against each other on the carpet, and her eyes flickered with anxiety.

"What's wrong?"

Meeting Jun Li's misty eyes, Cheng Qi's voice became a little hoarse. He quickly lowered his gaze to her lips and realized that he looked even worse.

What shocked him most was yet to come.

"I'm sorry, uncle."

"Um?"

He thought Junli was talking about how she was drunk and had caused him trouble, but Junli pursed her lips and said in a voice as small as a mosquito: "I... was drunk at the time, so I kissed you. I didn't mean to..."

As she spoke, she looked at Cheng Qi nervously.

Cheng Qi never expected that she still remembered. Aside from being embarrassed, he only thought about how to let Jun Li let go of her grudge. Just when he was about to put all the blame on being drunk and tell her that he didn't mind, he heard Jun Li add: "I mistook my uncle for someone else, so I did this. I hope my uncle can forgive me."

Looking at her clear eyes, Cheng Qi was suddenly speechless.

Although he knew that she mistook him for Qin Yu, he still felt uncomfortable hearing her eager to explain. In the end, he succumbed to Jun Li's gaze and a tiny word escaped from his throat: "Hmm."
