The following summer, Jun Li was captured by a group of people and taken to Cheng Qi after a 10-hour flight.
Cheng Qi's face was pale, but his eyes were as sharp and dangerous as an eagle's.
"Junli."
He spoke, but instead of asking why she had run away so quietly, he said, "You are not free anymore."
Jun Li calculated the time and found it was almost a year. She didn't know how the system would kill Cheng Qi, but seeing how Cheng Qi looked, he was probably not in good health. She had been wandering around for so long and was too lazy to bother anymore. She walked over to Cheng Qi and snuggled up to his chest. The villa has changed a lot. Where there was originally only a lawn, many flowers are now in full bloom. The most numerous flowers are her favorite roses, which are blooming in groups. There is also a flower stand next to it, which is covered with vines. Everywhere is full of vitality.

At first, he kept a distance from her, but after she went upstairs, his temperament changed drastically. Without saying a word, he tore her clothes off. His fingers, filled with anger, moved wantonly on her body. However, Cheng Qi was still soft-hearted. After seeing her frown, he reduced his strength a lot. Even though he still had a tense face and was still angry, he couldn't bear to hurt her.
The moment the two of them came together, she heard Cheng Qi's faint sigh of satisfaction. She couldn't tell whether it was because of comfort or because he was satisfied to have her again.
Cheng Qi possessed her for three or four hours until Jun Li was exhausted and fainted, and then he let her go.
Looking at her flushed little face, Cheng Qi placed his fingers on her heart. Her heartbeat was very steady, while his own was sometimes fast and sometimes slow. Sometimes he was even afraid that his heartbeat would stop.
After she left, Cheng Qi immediately sent people to look for her. However, before he found her, he received bad news. He had contracted a strange disease, a very rare one, and even the doctors could not find the cause.
Since then, his thoughts have changed a lot. He still works hard and manages the company seriously. After returning home, he starts to plant flowers. While planting flowers, he misses her. After the house was finished, he once called her. Even in the dead of night, he would grit his teeth and call her a heartless little goblin, but he still couldn't control his longing for her.
After the call was connected, he didn't know what to say to her. After hearing her voice, he hung up hastily. She didn't change her number, but he didn't dare let her know that it was him. It was obviously her who ran away silently, but he was under greater pressure.
After all, he was not that selfless. When he felt that his health was getting worse, he still couldn't control himself and tied her to his side. Perhaps, let her stay with him in her last moments.
Thinking this, Cheng Qi held Jun Li's hand contentedly and fell asleep.
