Yu Ting hesitated when she saw these three keywords.
Last night’s movie by Director Sun was a Qing Dynasty film, narrating the story of the fourth brother of the emperor, who lived a bleak life in his early years due to the premature death of his mother, Concubine Lin, during childbirth. After years of emotional repression, he broke out at the age of thirteen, using his knowledge and effort to climb up the ladder amidst the ruthless competition among his brothers, and finally ascended the throne with his strategy and tactics.
The character that VG Company vied for is the six brother, who is cheerful and innocent, and has been well taken care of since he was young.
Having read the script early on, Yu Ting felt this was not quite right.
Yet, this was the decision made by the production team.
Yu Ting scratched her head at an even faster speed. Since it had already been decided, she did not say much.
Ding dong.
The doorbell rang clear in the empty house, disrupting Yu Ting’s thoughts.
Ding dong, ding dong.
It continued ringing. Yu Ting tossed off her covers and walked out of her room to answer the door.
"Who is it?"
"Bro, we’re here"
As the door was opened, two dashing men appeared in her vision. One had an elegant look, the other was a business elite. Both had handsome faces, and wore expensive clothes.
Yu Ting was a bit bewildered.

Even more bewildered were Zuo Fugui and Song Yue. Having learned that Song Yue was visiting Chang Ming University in the morning, Zuo Fugui, with nothing better to do, tagged along. Passing by Brother Lu’s place, they decided to drop by, only to find this. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Now, they were standing outside the door, looking back and forth between Yu Ting and the door plate in astonishment.
The woman before them had delicate features, but her makeup was a bit odd, her eyeshadow smudged, and there was a lingering smell of alcohol on her. Her hair was messy and her clothes, thin and wrinkled.
Not only did she show up at Brother Nan’s house in the morning, but she also looked like she....
The three stood dumbfounded.
Uh...
Zuo Fugui suddenly had a feeling of déjà vu and studied her carefully.
Holy crap! Wasn’t this the rich lady from the green taxi?
Tap, tap.
Steady footsteps sounded from the side. Lu Nanchen, after finishing his classes, had returned with groceries. He was walking down the hallway toward unit 931.
Walking directly into the room, he took a few glances at Yu Ting, then handed the bag of groceries to Zuo Fugui standing nearby. He then freed his hand and touched Yu Ting’s forehead.
"Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere else?"
"No, I am feeling much better."
Zuo Fugui and Song Yue, who were dumbfounded, now apprehended Lu Nanchen’s reaction. Zuo Fugui exclaimed with surprise, "Is this our sister-in-law?"
"Yes."
Lu Nanchen hummed an affirmation, then after confirming Yu Ting’s fever had subsided, turned and went to the kitchen with the groceries.
"Hello, sister-in-law."
"Hello, sister-in-law."
The two twenty-something guys chorused simultaneously.
Yu Ting now indeed felt as perplexed as a dog.
What’s the use of my good looks?
I get seen at my worst in an unkempt state.

While muttering to herself, Yu Ting had to grin and lead the two men into the room.
"Go back and add more clothes. I’ll handle these two." As soon as Lu Nanchen walked out of the kitchen, having reorganized the groceries, he said with a facade of equanimity.
It seemed he wasn’t weirded out by last night’s occurrence.
Yu Ting took a deep look at him before turning back to the bedroom.
As the two guests walked in, Zuo Fugui whispered to Song Yue, "This is the woman I told you about last time."
