It wasn’t until class ended, and the day’s schedule was fulfilled, that Yu Ting returned to her dorm. By then, Lu Nanchen had called her around seven p.m.
When Yu Ting saw that the incoming call was from Lu Nanchen, she was taken aback.
It was rare for Lu Nanchen to initiate a call.
She swiped right to answer the call, and Lu Nanchen’s deep and steady voice soon echoed from the phone.
"When do you plan to take remedial classes from me?"

After hanging up, Lu Nanchen sat on the edge of the bed, still in the same letter position, with his arms casually resting on his thighs, still holding the phone in one hand, staring blankly at the floor tiles.

At eight p.m., the bell marking the end of Chang Ming University’s evening class rang. Lu Nanchen woke up from his stupor, touched his healed lip— once small, now a vivid reminder of the memories from a few days ago— and the lingering scent of a short-lived romance. He arose and resumed working at his desk.
What she said made sense.

She decided not to deal with him for now; even the thought of him was annoying.
