After arranging and planning everything, Yu Ting made a call to the person in charge of the Xunxing project.
The Xunxing project was preparing an outdoor reality show that would demonstrate the survival skills and down-to-earth nature of the stars, as well as bridge the gap between them and the audience, and test their ability to deal with stress.
Although the company was a newcomer, it hadn’t been established for long, but its performances were good. It had put a lot of effort into this project and was actively looking for sponsors within the company.
It was because of this that VG closed the deal.
Well, that’s a great outcome.
As soon as the call was connected, an impatient man’s voice came through, his tone very confrontational.
"I’ve already said I’m not meeting, I’ll wire the penalty fee to you tonight. Why are you still calling?"
The VG side had made no less than seven calls by noon, including a call just now, and now they were calling from a different number.
He hadn’t even lined up all his sponsors yet.
Always calling, calling, what the hell do they want through calls.
"I’m Yu Ting, the CEO of VG Entertainment, let’s meet to talk about cooperation,"
Yu Ting revealed her identity upfront, with steadiness in her voice, "and talk about sponsorship while we’re at it."
The man calmed down a bit after listening to her mention of sponsorship, and was silent for a moment.
Sponsorship?
"Alright, when do you want to meet?" 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
"Tonight at 6:30, I’ll text you the location."
"Alright, I’ll go ahead and wait for you there."

Yu Ting hung up the call. After finalizing everything, Yu Ting and Lu Nanchen went to Chang Ming University. After finishing the afternoon calculus class, they would go discuss business matters.
Yu Ting was in a grey casual outfit, Lu Nanchen was in his usual white shirt and black pants, he wore to classes. Yu Ting wasn’t sure which out of the three identical sets he wore, but they looked the same.
Yu Ting glanced at him occasionally and said, "The clothes I buy for you, you must wear and the things I buy, you must use. Otherwise, they’d just gather dust at home."
"It’s more practical to wear this for class. There’s enough to wear." The implication being: you don’t need to buy me clothes.
"..."
"I’ll take you shopping for clothes another day. Winter is coming, so we’ll get some casual wear and winter clothes." Yu Ting glanced at Lu Nanchen a few times, did some thinking and then made her statement.
Lu Nanchen: ...
The sight of the two walking side-by-side on campus suddenly caught the attention of the other students.
"Why are those two walking together? They seem to be coming from off-campus."
"Didn’t they just say Yu Ting was canoodling with Shen Sheng at the Jialiang Manor? Now she’s suddenly close with Professor Lu?"
"Speechless."
"Yu Ting is so annoying, super annoying."

"She’s really annoying, but I’ve already found someone."
"Just wait and watch the show."

Following Lu Nanchen’s lead, the two of them ended up in the teaching staff dormitory. Yu Ting was looking around curiously; it was very similar to the student dorms, but much quieter, with many of the older professors enjoying growing plants, creating an idyllic scene.
"I’m going to get my textbooks. They’re in my dorm." Lu Nanchen told Yu Ting as he was nearing his dorm building.
Two older men playing Go outside paused their game upon seeing Lu Nanchen and Yu Ting; the man with bifocal glasses had a smile on his face "Oh, young Lu, who is this?"
"Professor Peng." Lu Nanchen nodded slightly and smiled at the old man speaking, his hands gently pointing at Yu Ting, with a soft voice and a natural gentleness in his eyes.
"This is my wife."
