Chapter 139 - 138: My Face Swelled from a Fall_1

Every single word Yu Ting said was undeniably factual and justified.

Southwest Entertainment was, after all, a long-established giant in the industry, and it wouldn’t be easily defeated in the short term.

But he, Tang Youmin, was different. He was just a newly-signed artist. That old woman Shen Ruchu would never spend a fortune to protect him.

And Yu Ting was particularly willing to spend money.

Wei Qinghe was dumbfounded by what Yu Ting said. He stood still, looking at her determined eyes and the displeasure on her face.

He had never seen a person like her, nor had he ever met such a boss.

But it felt... surprisingly good.

Quite good.

Tang Youmin finally couldn’t smile now. He looked at Yu Ting, his eyes widened in disbelief, "Are you crazy?"

"This sort of thing..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Wei Qinghe threw another punch.

Realizing too late that Yu Ting and Wei Qinghe were serious, Tang Youmin started to resist after he received the second punch, struggling to break away from Wei Qinghe’s grip on his collar and repeatedly delivering kicks at him.

"Damn it, you’re all lunatics. Let go of me now."

Bang.

Another punch.

Wei Qinghe didn’t bother arguing, and just started with the fists. He had been tolerating this fellow for more than a day or two.

The two men soon started to fight. Yu Ting sat leisurely in a nearby chair, watching without intervening.

There had been too many battles these days, she needed a breather.

Compared to Tang Youmin, who was a bully yet cowardly, his combat skills were nothing compared to Wei Qinghe’s. After fighting for not long, he was at a disadvantage and was pinned down by Wei Qinghe.

"Wei Qinghe, do you think having someone backing you up gives you the right to do whatever you want? Huh?"

"Damn it, Wei Qinghe, stop hitting me."

"Damn, I’ll expose you to the media in a bit, I will definitely do it."

...

"Alright, alright, that’s enough." After glancing at the time displayed on the main screen, Yu Ting felt it was well-timed and called for Wei Qinghe to stop.

Any more and someone would come.

The fight ceased due to Wei Qinghe backing off. He had delivered seven punches in total, six of which landed on Tang Youmin’s right cheek.

Compared to Wei Qinghe, who only had a few scrapes and crinkled clothes, Tang Youmin’s right cheek was noticeably swollen and red, almost closing up his eye. Naturally, it would not subside within a month or two, and now it was so painful that his facial features were distorted. His previous domineering attitude was completely gone, completely overshadowed by disillusionment.

Maniacs... 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

They’re all maniacs!

Just as Wei Qinghe curiously wondered if Yu Ting had any other moves, Yu Ting slid her chair over to Tang Youmin’s side, leaning in to carefully observe his swollen face.

"You’re really ugly, aren’t you?"

Tang Youmin: ...

"Do you know how your face got like this?" Yu Ting asked knowingly.

"I was hit by you guys." Tang Youmin swallowed and answered, feeling that the woman sitting in front of him was far more terrifying, so he instinctively retreated.

Slap.

Yu Ting gave him a kick, her eyebrows furrowed in displeasure, dissatisfied with his reply. She repeated her question, this time with a lower tone of voice.

"How did your face get like this?"

"I was hit."

Slap.

Yu Ting kicked him again.

Tang Youmin: ?

Wei Qinghe, who was standing next to Yu Ting and much taller than her, looked down at her. He felt surprised and a bit happy, which lessened the shadow over his heart a bit.

"How did your face get like this?"

"I fell! I tripped and fell by myself."

Finally received a satisfactory answer, Yu Ting then sat up straight, creating a distance between her and Tang Youmin.

"Why are you so clumsy?"
