Chapter 27 - 26: Roommate Ning Xuan_1

There were still a few crooked boxes scattered at the entrance of the dormitory. Yu Ting glanced at the floor, then peered further inside. A girl appeared in her line of sight. Extremely casually dressed in a white short-sleeved tee and denim shorts, standing at 174 cm, with her exposed legs nearly reaching 120 cm. Under the light, her silky white legs were straight as a rod, ending in a pair of grey sneakers.

She was rather attractive, with slightly small eyes and hair framing her face. Even under concealer, traces of acne marks could be seen.

While both remained silent, Yu Ting had an air of aloof elegance, while this girl had an inherent wildness—equivalent to the high school’s uncontrollable female hooligan.

No word could describe her body better than "scorching"—moving from a C to D cup.

When Ning Xuan saw Yu Ting return, if not for that beauty mark by her eyes, she would not have recognised her. Her already small eyes shrunk even further.

Such a drastic change.

"You arrived early." Ning Xuan greeted, her eyes squinting, one corner of her mouth curled up in a smirk, her expression provocative, even somewhat fierce.

Hmm.

Not only did she look like a brawler, but she also acted like one.

While Yu Ting carried an unspoken authority, she carried an unspoken fierceness, what a character!

Ning Xuan balked at this, then turned her head away without saying another word.

She had agreed not to talk to her beforehand, why did she still initiate a conversation?

Nope.

She couldn’t be fooled by her appearance, she was still that dimwit!

Yu Ting and Ning Xuan had been roommates since their first year of college in September. Now, a year later, they found each other disagreeable. Yu Ting thought Ning Xuan was vulgar, while Ning Xuan thought Yu Ting was an idiot. Their opinions and actions often clashed, leading to countless disagreements.

If there was anything they had in common...

It would be their shared experience of isolation and gossip.

Yu Ting was deemed an idiot with low emotional intelligence, and Ning Xuan was seen as naturally fierce with equally low emotional intelligence.

Yet, both possessed striking looks and figures, becoming the center of their classmates’ gossip.

This indirectly led to the breakage of their friendship during the second semester of their first year.

After all, with the loss of a friend, their already sparse social circles became even more barren:)

"Uh-huh, I had packed everything earlier, so I came earlier." Yu Ting answered and continued inside, tidying up the rubbish strewn along the way. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

"..."

Her response was met with silence.

Ning Xuan continued to busy herself, changing the bedding and then using a towel to clean her side of the room.

Yu Ting was unconcerned, fully understanding her current behaviour, "Where are you from, anyway?"

"..."

What a joke.

Building a good relationship with your roommate is crucial in college.

While Ning Xuan was busy tidying her things, Yu Ting sat back on her bed and began to rummage through her bedside cabinet, "I brought some stuff from home, do you want some?"

"..."

The silence from Ning Xuan caused Yu Ting to halt her movements. Her eyes began to dart around, seemingly calculating something.

She then went off to wash up. When she returned, she was clad in a grey pyjama set, sitting on the chair applying a facial mask. As she pressed the mask to remove air bubbles, she took out a second piece, waving it towards Ning Xuan, "Do you want to try? It’s for skin repairing."

"..."

She then began rummaging through a drawer full of cosmetics, and quickly took out another thing.

"Try this essence too, it helps with acne."

She then casually tossed it towards Ning Xuan’s bed.

"This eye cream is pretty good, it’s for hydration."

"Oh right~ There’s also that specific acne medication."

"Really? What’s it called?"
