As Yu Ting, representing VG, prepared for the dance party, she was immaculately groomed. Her shoulder-length hair was softly curled, topped with a conservative, beige dress. It was a high-end brand, custom-made and intentionally long, effectively concealing her slender, porcelain legs. This gave the whole dress an outstanding sense of gravity.
The dress was matched with a pair of light-colored stilettos, that accentuated her sexy ankles.
While the dress was conservative on the bottom, it was rather revealing on top - exposing her shoulders with an open neckline, showing off her delicate, white collarbones.
Adorned with a reserved makeup look, and accentuated with defined eyebrows and a dab of lipstick, Yu Ting appeared even more dignified. Her attire was exceptionally formal, concealing her sharpness, while her gestures radiated authority.
A white convertible parked outside Huyue Entertainment office. Yu Ting stepped out from a Maybach Landaulet, looking unfazed in front of a group of reporters, her face adorned with a professional smile.
Then, she walked leisurely into the building.
"Miss Yu."
"Miss Yu."
Upon entering the dance hall, the three other VG Entertainment trainees who saw Yu Ting greeted her one after another.
Wei Qinghe, who stood out amongst the crowd with a gleaming, white suit - looking more commanding than usual - saw her arrival, and like the other two trainees, stepped forward to call out, "Miss Yu."
"Mm," Yu Ting responded with a faint smile. Both in her words and demeanor, there was no indication of favoritism towards Qinghe or any other trainees.
Then, she continued to walk further in.
The three trainees consciously followed behind her.
A lone woman leading three trainees, was a sight of elegance and sophistication.
As Yu Ting delved deeper into the dance party, she took in all the intricate decorations around her. Every few feet, there was a small bunch of flowers. Table arrangements were also scattered around sporadically, seemingly irregular but aesthetically pleasing. Crystal lamps added an extra touch of beauty to the scene.
During her entrance, Yu Ting saw familiar faces such as Director Li, his writers, and Huyue Entertainment’s President Tian.
She also saw many unfamiliar faces, either dressed in extravagant attire, exhibiting noble demeanor, or eloquent in speech. They were certainly not average individuals.
They must have been invited by Huyue Entertainment.
After a quick glance, Yu Ting took mental notes.
Everyone took their places before 7 PM, and the party officially began on time. President Tian quickly stepped onto a makeshift platform in front. Bathed in the spotlight, his smiling face looked even more serene and warm, "First of all, I would like to thank all of you for attending the dance party hosted by Huyue Entertainment tonight."
"I’m delighted that so many old friends and business partners of mine are here."
After briefly expressing his appreciation, President Tian proceeded with his speech, which lasted for about fifteen minutes. Elegant music then filled the hall. People began drinking, chatting, and dancing. Men and women paired off and took to the dance floor.
This had nothing to do with Yu Ting. She thought wearing a dress was already a hassle. After chatting with President Tian for a while, she found an free spot to lean against. Occasionally, she would nibble on some food from the nearby table, quietly awaiting the end of the dance party.
The three VG trainees she brought with her scattered around the hall. They saw this as an opportunity to network and build relationships.
