Chapter 366 - 365: "Why did you suddenly ask me to learn singing?"_1

In the past 27 years, Song Yue had countless moments where he harbored the thought: If only Song Zhan were a freeloader, life would be a lot easier for him.

Regrettably, wishes don’t always come true.

Song Zhan insisted on being independent.

However, what truly drove him to despair was yet to come. Song Zhan was not done with his sentence, and another outrageous remark found its way out of his mouth. Song Yue heard it and immediately wished he could sew his brother’s mouth shut.

"Can I bring someone along for tutoring?"

"I haven’t agreed yet."

Song Yue grumbled first, then sighed deeply and asked, "Who do you want to bring?"

"Ning Xuan."

"If it’s too much trouble for you, bro, I won’t bring her." Song Zhan’s last shred of decency was finally put to good use as he said this line.

"No need, just bring her."

Song Yue rejected the proposition firmly. Whenever he heard Song Zhan and Ning Xuan’s names together, the scene of Ning Xuan throwing the ball at him at school naturally came to mind.

He was still scarred from that experience.

However, the thought of having someone able to make his little brother obedient gave him some comfort.

"Let’s start tutoring this weekend. Bring the books to my house."

...

Meanwhile...

In Nanshan City.

The talent show was still going on in full swing. After the second episode ended with the release of the assigned tasks, the 40 trainees started their intense training sessions.

Everyone followed their tutors and reveled in daily studies. Those who were practicing dancing focused on dancing and singing trainees concentrated on singing.

Except for Wei Qinghe, who was acting but practicing singing.

He was also at scratch, learning one-on-one from a specialist vocal teacher hired from outside the show crew. He’s made a fool of himself many times for his cluelessness, blushing all day, embarrassed.

The vocal coach, a man in his forties, understood Wei Qinghe’s struggles.

He was, after all, a newbie.

"That’s it for today’s lesson. Go home and practice those vocal exercises more."

"There is no need to be embarrassed, you are very talented. You’re just starting and there’s a lot you don’t understand yet, we’ve all been there."

After the lesson ended, the vocal coach said while patting Wei Qinghe’s shoulder with a warm smile, "And stand more upright, look more spirited, don’t be timid!"

"A young man your age should be full of energy, haha."

"Have more confidence, you’re doing great."

The vocal coach laughed, and in response, Wei Qinghe returned an elegant laugh.

The two chatted for a bit before parting ways.

Wei Qinghe then left the room, gently closing the door behind him. The smile on his face slowly faded. These days, besides eating and sleeping, he was either singing or practicing acting. He hung his head low, focusing on the door handle, his eyes filled with exhaustion. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Then he heard the sound of footsteps growing clearer. Wei Qinghe glanced to the side and saw Yu Zijun strolling by in the hallway.

He must have worked late last night and only just woke up to come to find food.

Yu Zijun smoothed his bed hair as he walked, sighing about how difficult last night’s game dungeon was. He then glanced sideways and saw an evidently weary Wei Qinghe.

Their gazes met.

Wei Qinghe moistened his lips in hesitation before finally deciding to ask a question that had been bothering him for a few days, "Why do they suddenly want me to learn singing?"
