It must be said, Zhou Chengyan looks frightening now: silhouetted against the light, his eyes are so dark they are hair-raising. His dilated pupils reflect tiny sparks, the cigarette he’s smoking dangles from his upturned lips almost reaching his ears, occasionally shedding embers.
Zhou Chengyan enters a secure passageway and gently shuts the door behind him, with a click.
The man who was just exuberantly discussing his own success over the phone now looked dumbfounded upon seeing Zhou Chengyan.
Caught red-handed and not knowing who Zhou Chengyan really was, he didn’t attempt to run immediately.
The man asked, tremulously, still harboring some hope, "Sir... what are you doing here?"
"Those stupid capitalists?" Ignoring the man’s question, Zhou Chengyan echoes his earlier statement, then kicks the man in the stomach, hurtling him away to collide painfully with the tiled floor.
"Just pack up and go?"
"Give the woman custody and treat it like legal prostitution for five years?"
As Zhou Chengyan rant, he uses his shiny leather shoes to stamp on the man’s body, legs, arms, with each hit harder than the previous one.
The secure corridor has no CCTV camera, preventing Zhou Chengayn’s assault from being recorded.
Distracted by the rapid assault, the man didn’t have a chance to get up, instead, he shielded himself as best he could, hunched over, arms hugging his head.
In addition to kicks, Zhou Chengyan occasionally punched him. His hands were clenched tightly that the veins on the back of his hands were prominent. he hit the man so hard that it elicited his frequent pleas for mercy.
What the hell? He just started attacking people without saying anything.
The man, who had not expected Zhou Chengyan to do any of this, had no chance to run. He was begging pitifully, "Why are you hitting me?"
"I was wrong, stop hitting me."
"Please stop."
...
Zhou Chengyan ignored the man’s pleas and continued venting his negative feelings, narrowly avoiding potentially lethal blows.
He kept hitting till the man’s skin under his thin clothes turned purple and blood seeped from the corner of his mouth. Zhou Chengyan paused, his fist was slightly red. He extinguished the burning cigarette on the man’s collarbone, which elicited a few small sizzling sounds and left the man wailing in pain, with his forehead covered in sweat.
However, the expression on the perpetrator’s face became more and more manic, crossing the line of morality. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
"Are you still proud of yourself?"
"I gave you money out of pity."
Zhou Chengyan vented for a full fifteen minutes. The man sprawled on the floor, stopped begging; his body covered in bruises and blood stains.
Is this really a businessman...
After finishing, Zhou Chengyan released his foot and squatted down, patting the man’s tear-streaked face with his hand.
Smack, smack.
"All these injuries are from you falling down the stairs accidentally, you know?" Zhou Chengyan laughed as he said this.
Compared to the man, who did not have a single inch of flesh undamaged, Zhou Chengyan’s clothes were merely a bit wrinkled- a well-dressed perpetrator.
"Damn it, I’m going to call the police and let everyone see your ugly face. I’d like to see how your company stays afloat after this."
"You devil!"
The man, who had been in so much pain he thought he was going to die, was now resolved to expose Zhou Chengyan.
Yet again, Zhou Chengyan laughed.
"Really? You forged false information to participate in a public welfare reality show and you have the guts to expose me? Are you any better than me?"
"And besides."
