It took a full two minutes after Lu Nanchen finished explaining the last formula for the crowd to recover from their shock. Some were laughing, amused that Yu Ting’s outsider husband really was quite the outsider, taking things way too seriously. Others were perplexed, wondering why Lu Nanchen would choose such a performance.
Zhan Zheng was initially startled, but then his gaze on Lu Nanchen turned a bit sharp.

The host then said with a smile, "Well, thank you to our guest number three for such an enlightening performance. Please take a rest, and now let’s welcome with a round of applause our female guest number three for her performance."
Saying this, he pointed towards Yu Ting.
Yu Ting dipped her head slightly, touched her nose, and walked to the center of the crowd. After clearing her throat a few times, she began to sing.
Since she had never received formal training or refined her singing skills, Yu Ting, standing among the crowd of industry insiders, showcased her natural, unpolished voice.
