After signing the contract, Yu Ting exchanged a few pleasantries, then packed up the contract and left.

"Done talking? I just found a place and bought a house to come find you." Lu Nanchen, sitting on a single sofa inside, spoke softly after seeing Yu Ting’s somewhat weary appearance.
The air conditioning in the room was set to cool to ensure the indoor temperature was not too high during the summer.
As Yu Ting walked past Lu Nanchen, she was suddenly encircled by his arms.

"That’s fine. You rest first, we can talk about other things later." Lu Nanchen raised an eyebrow, looked at her with a helpless expression, and then tightened his grip. His deep voice was straightforward: "I’ll cook after a while. I bought the ingredients on the way."
"Okay." Yu Ting agreed briskly. She rested her head against Lu Nanchen’s broad shoulder and began to close her eyes.
By the time Lu Nanchen finished washing, chopping and cooking, Yu Ting had finished her meal and digested for about twenty minutes before changing into loose clothes and climbing onto the bed.
Not long after she got into bed, she felt one side of the bed sink in, and Lu Nanchen, who had just finished washing the dishes, quickly sat down beside her.
