The boy bore a mischievous grin, his yellow teeth gleaming. He raised his hand, itching to hit her.

The distance between them was three or four meters. It was unrealistic for him to rush over. Lu Nanchen saw a cement pipe leaning against the nearby wall, picked it up, and with a powerful force from his elbow, he hurled it towards the gang leader. The pipe hit right at his fist. The alloy material made contact with the knuckle bones, eliciting a painful yelp from the culprit.

Just as the boy was halfway into his sentence, he saw Lu Nanchen lift his leg and calmly kick the boy away.
Other boys who tried to stop Lu Nanchen from approaching Yu Ting met the same fate. They were all kicked away forcefully by Lu Nanchen, the imprints of his shoes visible on their bodies.
Unexpectedly, he could actually fight.
Yu Ting watched as Lu Nanchen approached her and felt puzzled.
Fighting seemed at odds with his grand persona.
After dealing with the obstructions along his way, Lu Nanchen reached Yu Tingโs side. He squatted down and calmly asked, "What is happening here?"
The huddled boys reacted differently to Lu Nanchenโs unexpected arrival.
"Whoโs this pretty boy? He dares to hit me." The gang leader saw Lu Nanchen and yelled out angrily. Then he began swearing discontentedly, "Whatโs with today? Why do all sorts of riff-raff keep meddling every time I try to get in a fight."
One of the older hooligans observing from the side had his pupils contract upon seeing Lu Nanchen. He even forgot to act tough and stared at Nanchen in bewilderment.
He had black long hair for sure, the mole under his eye was correct, and he indeed looked just like the one in his memories.
