Since she was out of town, Yu Ting was handling everything from home, including the company meetings that had taken place in the past few days.
A dozen senior executives sat in the meeting room of VG Company, looking at their President in her oversized T-shirt and shorts, all tousled and bedheaded in front of the camera.
"Everything is to be done as I instructed earlier. Keep a close watch on Ousheng Electron Entertainment to prevent any last-minute changes or unexpected setbacks," she said.
Yu Ting sat on a single sofa, speaking into the laptop placed on the coffee table in front of her.

Sitting by her side, Lu Nanchen watched as her face went through a series of expressions. He felt it might still be somewhat bitter.
"Well, I’ll prepare something else for next time."
Something less bitter.
"Alright," Yu Ting agreed, taking a few more sips before handing the glass back to Lu Nanchen.
Lu Nanchen took it, then got up to go about his own business.
Yu Ting continued to listen in on the meeting discussion.
Bits and pieces of Lu Nanchen’s voice could still be heard intermittently.
"I’ve washed your clothes and neatly folded them in the wardrobe."
"All dry?"
"Yes, I just washed the clothes you changed out of this morning."
