Lu Nanchen’s sudden action caused a stir among the over two hundred people sitting below, sparking a heated discussion.
No one could understand why the incredibly calm and restrained male professor would behave this way as soon as he entered the classroom.
Yu Ting was also caught off guard by his actions, but as she watched him stride toward her in the morning sun, his white shirt gleaming in the warm light added a touch of earthliness to him.

The room fell silent and as the person involved, Yu Ting could distinctly feel the girls’ chattering behind her had considerably subsided. Their sharp gazes created an atmosphere of suspense.
"Okay, thank you."
"There’s no need to thank me. Compared to what you undertook yesterday, this is nothing." Lu Nanchen honestly replied. Compared to the amount of money she spent yesterday, this ointment was nothing.

"Hmm, please sign here while you’re at it." With emotions stirring within her, Yu Ting didn’t forget the task at hand and handed the attendance sheet over to Lu Nanchen.
"Ok."
Accepting readily, Lu Nanchen placed a hand on the desk, leaning slightly closer. He used his other hand to rotate the attendance sheet towards him. Picking up the pen aside Yu Ting, his slender and distinct fingers carefully signed his name at the bottom.

He reoriented the attendance sheet towards Yu Ting, replaced the pen cap, and left her side, resuming his position at the lectern. He calmly scanned the classroom, which now contained double the students from the last lecture, and then began to open his teaching Powerpoint.
"Do not engage in unrelated matters, disrupting classroom discipline."
"Today we will study the second part of unit one..."

During class, everyone was quiet and the class routine was strictly adhered to. Everyone pulled out their phones and started gossiping on social media as they had done before.
