The boy standing next to him looked even more superior and attention-grabbing, his delicate facial features were accentuated by a high-bridged nose, his head leaned slightly in another direction, his body language communicating his reluctance to stand with Tang Youmin.
The two knew each other.
Yu Ting propped her chin, her eyes flitting back and forth between the two, remaining silent, quietly observing.
The third boy, his attire was somewhat formal, with longer hair that fell to his cheekbones, a pair of eyes obscured by his hair while the exposed skin was fair.
Once inside, he seemed a bit uncomfortable, unsure of where to place his hands, feeling out of place wherever they ended up.
His demeanor was somewhat unique, like a homebody, maybe even socially anxious.
After reviewing several batches of trainees and starting to feel weary, when the next batch came up, the top agent Jian Min suggested a break to revisit the few they had taken a liking to.
After Song Zhan agreed, he whispered something into Yu Ting’s ear, and she nodded in response.
"You three, rest for a moment, be ready again in fifteen minutes." Having received Yu Ting’s approval, Jian Min pushed her glasses up and spoke.
Upon receiving executive instruction, the three who had just come in left again shortly.
Wei Qinghe walked briskly at the front, trying to put as much distance as possible between himself and Tang Youmin, his brows furrowed, displeased.
"You have the chance now, sincerely apologize to me a few times. Don’t stir up trouble once we get back in there, or we won’t be seeing that money."
Tang Youmin also sped up, coming forward from behind, "aren’t you in need of money?"
Wei Qinghe slandered him inwardly, replaying what Uncle Li had told him earlier in his mind, but didn’t make a sound as he continued towards the reception room.
For the first time, the distance from the discussion room to the reception room felt too long, long enough for Tang Youmin to say a lot.
"In our field, don’t you know that you have to be sensible?"
"With no one backing you and no fans, what are you being so stubborn about?"
...
Click.
Wei Qinghe’s advancing steps abruptly stopped, his handsome face gloomy, "Why should I apologize? You stole my resources, slandered me, and insulted my mother, why should I apologize?"
This guy is so annoying, I only said one thing, and he has been nitpicking about it until now.
What petty-mindedness.
Not sure which remark tickled him, Tang Youmin suddenly let out a chuckle, a look of disbelief on his face.
"What’s the matter? Isn’t this a very normal thing? Who’s to blame for you not being competent? Among those I’ve bullied, see if anyone from the few who stood up managed to rise."
"So did you."
...
Fifteen minutes later, after Yu Ting and the others finalized four trainees, the trio of trainees were summoned again.
Tang Youmin still entered with his easy and composed demeanor. In comparison, Wei Qinghe looked more solemn, unsure of what might happen next.
One by one, they began their self-introductions.
"H-hello, my name is Fu Tiantian, I am a song composer and arranger, I have written a few songs."
"Hello, I am Wei Qinghe from Xingchuan Idol, I want to be an actor."
"Hello, my name is Tang Youmin, I’ve played the second male lead in a web drama and the fifth male lead in the hit series "Qi Xia", I’m from Xingchuan Idol, and I am an actor."
Among the three, Tang Youmin could be said to be the most composed and most normal, followed by Wei Qinghe. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"Since you are all actors, I presume your company wouldn’t want useless lazybones. Let’s have a simple acting competition."
