Chapter 47: The Battle of Faith 3

Raphael lifted up Mu Mu's upper body and cut his wrist with a knife without hesitation. Divine blood with a faint golden hue flowed out. He pressed the wound against Mu Mu's lips.

Mu Mu smelled the sweet scent and immediately stretched out his little tongue to lick Raphael's blood. Slowly, he regained some strength, held Raphael's hands with both hands, and rubbed his skin with his little fangs.

Raphael was amused by him, "Little guy, slow down, no one is competing with you."

Mu Mu finally had the strength to open his eyes. He stared at Raphael in a daze. His eyes had turned completely red like the finest rubies. It was clearly a bloodthirsty color, yet exceptionally clear.

He looked at Raphael blankly, then quickly lowered his eyes. He was obviously unconscious and drank the blood instinctively. After he was full, he closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

The wound on Raphael's wrist healed quickly. He sat by the bed and looked at Mu Mu, glancing at his little fangs from time to time, his expression becoming more and more solemn.

"Raphael, is Sariel okay?"

Cesivido's anxious voice came from outside the door. Raphael stuffed Mumu's hand back into the quilt, tucked the corner of the quilt for him, and answered loudly, "He's fine, he's just too weak. Let me take care of him. Cesi, you go back first."

Raphael concealed the fact that Mumu was a half-blood. Just because he could accept it didn't mean other angels could, especially Cesivido. Raphael didn't dare to gamble with Sariel's life.

Cesivido hesitated. He didn't see that the huge rock hanging in Mumu's heart could never fall.

"Your Highness, there's a riot in Purgatory."

The power angel who came hurriedly brought this untimely news. Cesivido stood tall in front of the door for a long time. He clenched his palms, stared at the door with his blue eyes, and finally turned and left.

Raphael heard the noise outside and breathed a sigh of relief.

Mu Mu slept soundly. He only felt his body was warm. His hungry stomach was satisfied and no longer rumbled. The part of the power of light in his body was suppressed by the power of the blood clan.

Mu Mu slowly opened his eyes, his bloodshot pupils filled with confusion. At this moment, a handsome face covered in colorful paint came over and called him, "Little Sariel?"

Mu Miao blinked, the corners of his lips slowly raised, revealing a weak smile, "...Brother Raphael."

When Cesivido didn't have time to take care of Sariel, Raphael often came to Sariel to take care of him, taking him to read books and play together.

Raphael smiled and asked, "Are you feeling unwell?"

Mu Miao shook his head and was about to say something when his tongue touched the two unfamiliar little fangs. His eyes suddenly widened and he pointed at his mouth, "Brother, my teeth have grown..."

Raphael patted his shoulder soothingly and asked tentatively, "Sariel, what do you think of the vampires?"

Mu Mu naturally had no idea about this race, but he was Sariel now, and he needed to look at this issue from Sariel's perspective.

Mumu shook his head, his expression distressed. "I don't know. Saisi said that they are a very bad race. They don't believe in God, but believe in the moon and the night."

Raphael showed a look of astonishment, sighed, and rubbed his head like a reliable elder. "Sariel, listen to me carefully. What I am about to say may be difficult for you to accept."

Mu Miao looked straight at him with her clear eyes, waiting obediently for his next words.

"Sariel, I just found out today that you are a half-blood."

Mu Miao complained in his heart, he just found out about it today, a little earlier than him.

But he still put on a surprised expression, and said in an unbelievable tone, "How could it be..."

"It's no big deal," Raphael told him hurriedly. "Sariel, don't be afraid. This is just a small matter. You haven't done anything wrong. This is all the decision of the Father."

Every archangel was created by God, and their appearance, facial features, and personality traits were all given by Him, but Raphael knew clearly that Sariel was different from them.

Whether it was his frail body or his strange bloodline, this child was completely different from the mass-produced angels like them.

Mu Miao was shocked, and this time he wasn't pretending. "You mean, Father God knows that I have the blood of the vampire race?"

After all, Mu Mu and Sariel are two different people. Mu Mu only took a quick look at his memory and did not pry into his privacy too much, so many details were naturally unclear to him.

Raphael replied affirmatively, "He must know."

Mu Mu only felt that this identity was even more confusing. He had always thought that "Sariel" was a traitor of the vampire clan, but Raphael told him that God had known his bloodline for a long time.

Then why did God keep him?

Mu Mu was lost in thought, fingers clasping the quilt, eyelashes drooping, looking as if she couldn't accept this fact, the whole little angel was depressed.

Raphael looked at her with heartache and gently embraced Mumu in his arms. "It's okay, Sariel. Although we don't know why Father God did this, He must have His reasons. You don't need to worry so much."

Mu Mu nodded listlessly, "Brother Raphael, thank you."

Angels have an innate aversion to vampires, but Raphael not only did not discriminate against his bloodline, but also carefully comforted him, which shows that he is really good to Sariel.

Raphael wiped away the tears from Mumu's eyes, held his face, and said solemnly: "Sariel, promise me not to reveal your identity to Ceci, okay?"

Mu Miao was puzzled, "Why?"

"He's an angel who can't tolerate any grain of sand in his eyes." Raphael's face was solemn. "Cesi is too dangerous. He has a strong hatred for the vampires. You must never tell him that you have vampire blood."

Mu Mu recalled the ruthless look of Cesivido killing the vampire with one sword, and felt that it was full of danger. He quickly nodded and agreed, "Don't worry, brother, I will definitely hide well."

Raphael patted his little head in relief and said, "You're so good."

Mu Mu stayed with Raphael for a long time, but his vampire characteristics still did not fade. His red glass-like eyes were rolling around. He held the mirror, his cheeks puffed up with anger, "What should I do?"

Raphael tried to use disguise to cover up his crime, but Sisi's power was the strongest among them, and all disguises were useless in front of him.

Raphael was also undecided and in a dilemma.

Just when the two angels were at their wits' end, Cesivido, like the King of Hell, came again and knocked on the palace door. "Raphael, how is Sariel now?"

Raphael and Mu Mu looked at each other and saw panic in each other's eyes. Mu Mu quickly jumped onto the bed and covered his whole body with the quilt.

Cesivido stood at the door, waiting for no response from the person inside. Instead, he heard the sound of knocking and whispering from inside, which made him frown.

He bent his fingers and knocked on the door again, "Raphael, what are you doing? Is Sariel awake?"

After a long while, Raphael's voice could be heard from the room. "Sariel is still sleeping. He has already woken up once. Ceci, let little Sariel stay with me today so I can take care of him."

Ceci's keen intuition told him that the two angels were hiding something from him.

He immediately refused and prepared to push the door open to enter. "No need. Since Sariel is fine, I'll take him back."

But a body soon blocked the door. Raphael leaned against the door with his back, pressing against it tightly. "Sariel said he wanted to be with me tonight. You should go back first."

Cesivido felt a surge of irritation in his heart, and his tone was impatient, with a hint of warning, "What on earth are you doing in there? Raphael, don't make me ask a second time."

Raphael could tell he was already angry, but seeing Sariel's uneasy and frightened look, he gritted his teeth and tried to pull Cesivido away, "It's okay, I'm a doctor, and if I say it's okay, it's okay!"

Mu Miao heard a loud noise coming from the door. He huddled in the quilt and trembled all over, letting out a frightened sob, "Brother Raphael..."

Cesivido was already furious. He punched the door, and a dent immediately appeared on it.

Just as they were at a stalemate, a gentle voice came from the ninth heaven, "Raphael, bring Sariel to the temple."

"Ceci, come back later."

The god awakens and summons Sariel and Raphael.

Raphael immediately opened the door and bowed respectfully, "Yes, Father, I will bring Sariel over."

The moment Raphael left the house, Cesivido smelled a hint of blood, the unique divine blood of the archangel. His heart suddenly tightened and he turned his head to look into the room.

Raphael closed the door carefully, and when he came out again, he was holding Mu Mu, who was covered tightly with a quilt.

Mu Mu wrapped himself in the quilt, holding Raphael tightly in his arms. Although everything in front of his eyes was white and he couldn't see Cesivido's figure, he could still feel the other's unignorable gaze on him.

Mu Mu curled up his white toes nervously and hugged Raphael tighter with his hands. Raphael patted his back soothingly and said softly, "It's okay, it's okay."

He glanced at Cesivido's stern face, nodded in greeting, and then held Mu Mu in his arms, spread his wings and flew towards the ninth heaven.

Cesivido looked at Sariel, who should have been in his arms, but was now nestled obediently in the arms of other angels. He felt as if a small thorn had pierced his heart, which was not very obvious but always hurt him when he was caught off guard.

The solemn and majestic temple stands in the ninth heaven. It is God's exclusive place. Even the archangel with high status is not allowed to enter without being summoned.

The tightly closed temple door was now wide open, and the god sat high on the throne, emitting a holy light that could not be looked directly at.

Raphael immediately lowered his head, placed his right hand on his heart, and bowed to Him, "Father."

Mu Mu, ignorantly imitating Raphael, called out to God, "Father God."

No one could see the face hidden in the holy light. He was slightly moved when he heard Mumu's call. He looked at the little angel kneeling on the ground, waved at him, and said gently, "Sariel, come to the Father."

Mu Mu subconsciously glanced at Raphael, and Raphael winked at him, telling him to go quickly.

"Raphael, go out first."

"Yes, Father."

Raphael stood up and left the temple.

Mu Mu then walked towards the throne reluctantly. He was very nervous, fearing that the god would recognize that he was not Sariel. Fortunately, the god did not react until he walked in front of him.

He didn't know if it was his illusion, but the holy light on the god had weakened a bit and was no longer so dazzling.

Mu Mu stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do next. God then patted His knees. Mu Mu immediately received the message, knelt down beside Him, and leaned on His knees.

The god lowered his eyes, stretched out his hand, and brushed Mu Mu's short hair on his forehead with his slender fingertips, revealing his red eyes.

Mu Mu raised his head and looked at God. He knew clearly that he was looking into the eyes of the supreme God. He seemed to be able to see through the holy light and see God's handsome face and eyes that were as dazzling as gold.

Mu Mu looked away uncomfortably and glanced around. At this moment, a warm hand fell on his head.

God ruffled his hair and said in an inaudible voice, "...It really looks like him."

Mu Miao raised his eyes blankly, "Father God?"

The god just looked at his beautiful facial features and smiled softly. The power of light emanated from his hands, helping Mu Mu to sort out the disordered breath in his body.

Mu Mu's eyes turned blue again, and the small fangs in his mouth retracted, but the feeling of having his bloodline suppressed was very uncomfortable. He once again felt that he had no strength in his body and was extremely weak.

"It's okay, Sariel."

The god stroked his hair comfortingly, took out a necklace with a crystal clear red bead hanging on it, and put the necklace around Mumu's neck.

Instantly, the two forces in Mu Mu's body reached a balance, and the pain all over his body disappeared.

His eyes lit up, filled with surprise, and he said in a clear voice, "Thank you, Father God!"

God smiled gently and said, "When you feel uncomfortable, come to Father God. Do you understand?"

Mu Mu nodded repeatedly, deeply moved. [Wow, wow, wow, wow, 001, He is so kind.]

001 felt that God's attitude towards Mu Mu was very strange, but he couldn't tell exactly what was strange about it.

After God healed Mu Mu's body, he chatted with him for a while, mostly about topics in his daily life. Mu Mu answered all the questions and was happy to tell him.

After chatting for a while, God was silent for a moment, "Sariel, it's time for you to leave."

Mu Mu was stunned. He didn't expect that God would drive him away so suddenly, but since he had already said so, Mu Mu said goodbye to God and got up to leave.

After he turned around, the god on the high seat kept staring at him until Mu Mu's figure was completely out of sight. The heavy door of the temple closed again, and silence returned to the hall.

God also disappeared from the throne.
