Chapter 64: The Battle of Faith 20

With the appearance of Yin Yan, the situation changed subtly.

Shi Lin looked at Yin Yan a few more times, then at Yin Jingnan's obviously abnormal reaction, and thought about what the black fog man said that day, and realized that this man's appearance was related to the black fog man.

He glanced around and sure enough, he saw some black mist clinging to the grass in a hidden place.

Mu Mu knew about Yin Yan's existence a long time ago. He was Yin Lin's father and the one who adopted Yin Jingnan. He was hunted down by the inhumane human race in the God-killing War and died in that world that had come to an end.

Yin Jingnan, who was raised under his protection, returned to Jingxu with his newborn child. Mu Miao knew that in Yin Jingnan's heart, Yin Yan was more important than anyone else in the world.

Looking at the terrifyingly silent Yin Jingnan, Mu Mu thought of all the ways in which the other party could easily kill him. Fear arose spontaneously, and tears began to fall again, sobbing bitterly.

He cried silently. It was only after Yin Jingnan glanced at him that he saw that his eyes and nose were red from crying.

"Tsk, what are you crying for?" Yin Jingnan hit him on the shoulder in frustration, pointing at his own nose in complete silence. "Do I look so stupid that anyone can fool me?"

Mu Mu looked up with tears in her eyes, "Ah?"

Yin Jingnan no longer looked out of control, but instead looked Yin Yan up and down with great interest.

To be fair, this Yin Yan was almost identical to the person in her memory, from his phoenix eyes to the corners of his lips that were always curved in a smile, they were exactly the same.

It seemed as if he would knock her head with the hand holding the scroll at any moment, and admonish her in a gentle and pleasant voice, "Teach her with culture, discipline her with etiquette, and guard her from the south. Be careful not to be arrogant or impatient."

Yin Jingnan remembered these words and unexpectedly felt a rare sense of nostalgia. She just looked at the puppet and shook her head, "No, not at all."

Out of curiosity, Mu Miao once secretly went to their world to take a look at Yin Yan's corpse. It was exactly the same as the person in front of him. "Don't they look alike? I think they are very similar."

"So what if it's similar?" Yin Jingnan disagreed, playing with a strand of hair with his fingers. "I killed him with my own hands, so of course I knew he couldn't come back alive."

Mu Miao's eyes widened instantly and he looked at her in surprise, but Yin Jingnan had no intention of continuing to explain to him.

"Besides..." Yin Jingnan looked at this body with a critical eye, making all kinds of disgusted sounds while looking at it.

"The nose and eyes are quite similar, but the smile is so fake. The body proportions are wrong. It's not as good as the dolls I bought for tens of thousands of dollars. The workmanship is too crude. The craftsman's skills are not good enough."

She shook her head in disappointment and seemed very dead to the craftsman behind her.

She didn't know that the craftsman was right next to them, and the black mist that created Yin Yan was so angry that he jumped up and down because of her words.

What a coward! How could such a coward with no sense of aesthetics possibly understand his superb technique! And how dare they criticize him as worthless? It's a disgrace!

Yin Yan stood there unconsciously, his bright golden eyes full of affection as he looked at everyone. He smiled at Yin Jingnan, "Jingnan, what are you talking about? I'm Yin Yan. I helped raise you. Have you forgotten me?"

Yin Jingnan waved his hands in disdain, "I'll leave you alone."

She put her arm around Mu Mu's shoulders, pointed at her short skirt and short sleeves, and said in a chatty tone, "Let me tell you, if Yin Yan really saw me dressed like this, he would have come over and given me a big slap in the face. He's a well-deserved old feudal remnant."

Mu Miao: “…”

He glanced at Yin Jingnan's face, and when he was sure that she had no intention of attacking him, he breathed a sigh of relief.

It was a close call. Fortunately, Yin Jingnan was more rational.

It is obvious that Yin Yan's move cannot restrain Yin Jingnan.

Shi Lin looked at the black fog silently. The amplitude of the black fog's jumping had obviously slowed down a lot, and it seemed much calmer, but his mood probably wasn't much better.

"Shi Lin, take Yin Yan and leave."

The black fog's angry voice reached Shi Lin's ears, and then disappeared.

Shi Lin was very dissatisfied with the tone of his orders, but at this point it was impossible for him to escape unscathed from the joint attack of Mu Miao and Yin Jingnan, so he could only obey him.

But when his hand just touched Yin Yan, an arrow shot out. He quickly withdrew his hand and looked at Mu Mu with hatred.

Mu Miao made a face at him and raised his middle finger provocatively.

Shi Lin was so angry that his face turned blue, but because Yin Jingnan was there, he didn't dare to take action.

Yin Jingnan completely ignored Shi Lin and just stared at Yin Yan. Noticing something unusual, he raised his eyebrows in surprise. "The scattered souls can gather together a little bit. There's something special about it. It's really strange, really strange."

She grabbed in the air, tore the space apart, and pulled Yin Lin over.

Yin Lin also had a test paper in his hand. He sighed helplessly, his tone tired, "Jingnan, I'm taking the college entrance examination."

"Don't take the test anymore. Come take it with me next time. Come, look at your dad. You haven't seen him yet, have you?" She nodded at Yin Yan and said, "Look carefully. This is what your dad looks like. Don't cry and tell me next time that you've never seen your dad."

Yin Lin didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "That was when I was a kid. Don't dwell on it."

As he spoke, he looked at Yin Yan, concealing the complex emotions in his eyes, smiled, and sighed, "So this is what my father looks like. Looking at it this way, I look a lot like him."

The father and son naturally look very similar, especially the phoenix eyes that seem to be carved from the same mold. The confidence and pride of the phoenix are revealed in them.

Mu Mu held a bow in his hand, not letting Shi Lin get close to Yin Yan, and used his mind to agree, "Yeah! They are all beautiful beauties."

Yin Lin found it funny and rubbed Mu Mu's head, "You little pervert."

Yin Jingnan waved his hand, "Have you finished reading it? If you have, take him back and let me study him. Maybe I can really get Mu Zi back."

Mu Miao's eyes suddenly lit up, and she was extremely excited. "Really? You can save my second brother?!"

Yin Jingnan was very proud. "When I pass the medical doctorate exam and the boss agrees to let me touch Mu Zi's body sealed in ice, these are all minor problems."

Mu Miao: “…”

He thinks this is a big problem.

Not to mention anything else, it would be a bit difficult for Jingnan to get into university. Even if she really became a doctor, it would still be... very unreliable.

Yin Jingnan was irritated by his gaze and narrowed his eyes. "I'm really uncomfortable with the look in your eyes. Hurry up and find someone you admire."

Mu Miao immediately hid behind Yin Lin.

Yin Lin smiled and patted his head, agreeing with Yin Jingnan, "Okay."

He transformed into a giant phoenix, which looked exactly like Yin Yan in its original form. Its gorgeous feathers sparkled in the sun. The phoenix swooped down with great momentum, and blazing flames were set in its path.

Shi Lin had no intention of stopping them and let Yin Lin and Yin Yan fly into the sky. He looked up at the figure of the phoenix and clenched his hands slightly at his sides.

Yin Jingnan glanced at him and asked Mu Miao, "Can you handle him?"

Mu Miao immediately thought about it in his mind, and confirmed that Mu Zi had no other means to restrain them. He nodded confidently, "I can do it!"

Then Yin Jingnan also turned into a silver-white phoenix, circled twice in the air with Yin Lin, and left together.

As they left, everyone forgot everything about Yin Jingnan, and time went back to a few seconds before she appeared.

Cesivido's blue eyes were blank for a few seconds before gradually regaining clarity.

But when he saw Mu Mu holding the bow and arrow vigorously and shooting arrows at Shi Lin, he was still confused for a few seconds.

Not only him, but Misal and Uriel were also stunned.

Looking at Shi Lin who was being chased by Mu Mu and had no power to fight back, a strange sense of disharmony lingered in their hearts, which was hard to shake off and very uncomfortable.

Mu Mu hadn't expected Shi Lin to be such a fast runner. He chased him breathlessly but couldn't catch up. He was exhausted and leaned against the transparent wall that trapped Misal to adjust his breathing. He shouted at Shi Lin breathlessly, "Don't run! Aren't you pretty good?"

Mu Mu's forehead was covered in sweat, his eyes were a little swollen from crying, and his fair face was covered in gray and white patches.

Misael was so distressed that he wanted to reach out and wipe his sweat, but his hand was blocked by the barrier. "Don't worry, Sariel, I'll help you kill him when I get out. Why are you sweating all over? Wipe it off quickly, or you'll catch a cold."

Worrying like an old nanny.

At this moment, Shi Lin suddenly turned around and flipped his palm, "Turn!"

The space twisted, and Mumu and Misal disappeared on the spot.

Cesivido, who had been indifferent at first, finally panicked. The culprit who caused all this had already mentioned his accomplices, jumped into a black hole in time and space, and escaped.

Having become a completely lonely man, Cesivido was in an extremely depressed mood.

The outermost part of the vampire territory is surrounded by lush forests, where weeds grow so thickly that even the sparsest and most common chirping of insects and birds has disappeared.

Suddenly, two figures appeared out of thin air in the air and fell straight down. Misal quickly grabbed Mu Mu beside him, pulled him into his arms, spread his wings, flapped them and landed on the nearest branch.

Mu Mu's first reaction was that he had been plotted against by Shi Lin, the old scoundrel, again, but what followed was only a brief feeling of weightlessness, and no other abnormalities.

Mu Miao opened his beautiful red eyes, and his watery pupils looked radiant and beautiful.

He first looked around, then looked up at Misal, "Where are we?"

Misal only felt that there was a kind of bewitching power in Mumu's eyes. He could not help himself after just one look and could not even take his eyes off them.

Seeing that he was stunned and had no reaction, Mu Mu nudged him and asked again: "Mishal, where are we? Do you know?"

Misal finally came back to his senses. Inwardly, he cursed himself for not living up to his expectations, but he didn't show it on his face. He looked around casually, "Oh, here, this is... huh?"

Mu Miao waited curiously for his next words, "Where is it?"

Misael's face was filled with visible surprise. She told him, "Vampire, we're actually back. That's incredible. How did that person do it?"

There are several layers of heaven between the blood clan and heaven.

Mu Mu was also in disbelief. He looked around at the quiet environment. Is this the vampire clan?

Would Shi Lin really be so kind as to send them directly to the vampire clan? It felt so unreal. Mu Mu preferred to believe that he must be up to something evil again.
