Chapter 139 Dragon

After that, they ignored the werewolf and flew away from the mountain.

The seaside was filled with delicious aromas. Xu Anran was eating a freshly grilled fish, while Xu Liang was making grilled squid, and Uncle Li was poking holes in freshly picked coconuts.

Momo stood on tiptoe, looking at the squid in Xu Liang's hand, drooling, "Brother Liang, why isn't it ready yet?"

Xiao Feng and Xiao Yue were feeding the wolf cubs with bottles, while Mai Sui squatted down to help.

After finishing her fish, Xu Anran took out her fishing rod, ready to see if she could catch a few sea fish later.

She took out a small boat and prepared to go out to sea.

Momo took the squid that Xu Liang had just cooked and ran over to share it with her friends.

Uncle Li distributed the freshly prepared coconuts to everyone.

Zhao Chang'an and Luo Xi were discussing the recent usage of demon meat.

Qi Ziqi ran over to Xu Anran, wanting to go sea fishing with her. The two rowed away from the beach, onto the calm sea, threaded their lines, cast their rods, and waited for a fish to bite.

Just as Xu Anran felt that a fish had finally taken the bait, she cast her line, creating splashes, and a beautiful little fish was caught on the hook and thrown out of the water.

At the same time, a wave surged up, the spray growing larger and larger, and a huge figure emerged from it.

Its scales shimmered with a dark blue light in the sunlight as it burst out of the sea, creating huge waves that capsized Xu Anran's small boat.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up.

Xu Anran and Qi Ziqi swam out from under the capsized boat and saw a huge shadow looming over them.

With a "thud," the skewer in Momo's hand fell to the ground. Pointing at the figure, she exclaimed incredulously, "This...this is a dragon?"

Xu Liang swallowed the coconut juice he hadn't drunk in his shock, looked at the giant dragon with half its body showing above the sea, then realized what was happening and looked at Xu Anran and Xiao Qi, who were standing next to the dragon, and called out, "Anran, Xiao Qi..."

The others, recovering from their shock, grabbed their weapons and prepared for battle.

Just then, a deep voice came from above: "Don't be nervous, I'm not a dragon yet, I'm a jiao."

After saying that, it spat out a blue bead that floated in the air. Then it used its claws to lift Qi Ziqi out of the water and looked at him, saying, "I sense the power of Yin Thunder on you. I would like to ask you for a favor."

Qi Ziqi was lifted up in front of the dragon, and he met its gaze with a pair of large, golden eyes. He asked somewhat nervously, "What kind of help?"

"Help me infuse this bead with Yin Thunder." The dragon moved the bead in front of Qi Ziqi.

Qi Ziqi didn't agree immediately, but instead, fearlessly, started discussing conditions: "What benefits would I get?"

After thinking for a moment, the dragon said, "I can grant you one request after I become a dragon, as long as it's within my power."

Qi Ziqi replied, "But how are we supposed to find you? And once you become the Dragon Queen, we might all have left this world."

"Haha, don't worry, we'll meet again," the dragon said confidently.

The dragon then took a blue dragon scale from its body and handed it to Qi Ziqi: "And this is for you, consider it a deposit."

Having obtained the dragon scale, Qi Ziqi didn't say anything more. She immediately unleashed all her supernatural abilities. The sky was filled with dark clouds, and an incredibly thick black bolt of lightning struck straight down towards the bead, lasting for a full five minutes before stopping.

Qi Ziqi was so exhausted that she collapsed onto the dragon's claws.

Seeing that the bead's color became even more dazzling after being struck by lightning, with arcs of electricity flowing across it, the dragon was very satisfied and put it back into its body.

It placed Qi Ziqi on the beach, and then lifted Xu Anran from the sea.

"Little girl, I look forward to seeing you again. You must grow up by then!" Before leaving, the dragon's eyes shone with golden light as it uttered these words to Xu Anran.

It also carried Xu Anran to the beach, then turned and returned to the depths of the sea.

"Huh?" A person flew over on a hoverboard and looked around the beach. "Huh? I clearly saw it, did you guys see it? A dragon just appeared here!"

The man looked at the group and asked.

Everyone looked at each other, and before they could answer, another voice came from behind.

"Damn it! Don't run!" A group of people ran over, seemingly there to arrest the person.

"If you don't let me run, I won't run. Do you think I'm stupid?" The man dodged the group's attacks while running around Xu Anran and the others, asking about the dragon.

"You thief! Stop right there!" the dark-skinned man in the group yelled. "And you lot, get out of my way, or I'll take care of you all too!"

Xu Anran looked at the man and his group: "Jingmei, tie them all up."

A burst of red mist emerged from Xu Anran's earring and immediately enveloped the group. Before anyone could react, the ghost bride and her pursuers were all bound together with red ribbons.

"Why did you tie me up?" The man was still struggling, while the group of people on the side were also shouting.

Xu Anran ignored them and instead said to the team members, "Check yourselves to see if you've lost anything."

Everyone quickly checked and, sure enough, Xu Liang had lost a spatial button, Zhao Chang'an's spatial watch was gone, Xiao Momo's little wooden sword and Xiao Feng's spatial necklace were all missing.

Everyone looked at the person; she had a neat short haircut, was very slender, and had delicate features. She was now looking at everyone with an innocent expression, still trying to deny it: "Don't look at me! I don't know anything!"

Xu Anran nodded to the ghost bride, who then turned into a wisp of mist and entered the girl's body. The girl felt a chill, her whole body went cold, and she lost consciousness. When she looked up again, her eyes were flashing red as she looked at Xu Anran: "This body is really young." She stood up and began to take things out, taking out all the things she had just stolen, as well as many of the girl's own belongings.

Xu Anran and the others took their own things, but left the rest untouched.

Seeing the girl's sudden change, the group became anxious. The dark-skinned man shouted, "What did you do to her? We've returned everything to you. Don't go too far. Do you know who we are?"

"Tell me about it," Luo Xi asked curiously.

The man said, "We're from the Passengers' Mutual Aid Association. Our leader recently took down a small team from the Crimson Flame Guild. If you dare to do anything, our guild will definitely avenge us. You'd better let us go, and we'll call it even."

Upon hearing his words, Xu Anran looked at Luo Xi, and the others also looked at Luo Xi. Luo Xi stared at the person who had spoken in shock.
