Chapter 176 Obtained

The girl had a pair of wings spread behind her, their feathers gleaming black. Her dark eyes looked down at Xu Anran and the others. Desin pointed at Xu Anran and said, "Auri, kill her!"

With his family all dead, Dexin knew he was no match for Amy (Xu Anran), so he opened the room containing the most precious treasure of the Ike family, which was also the corpse of a god, though not very complete. This was an evil god named the Fallen Angel.

Aoli's body was on the verge of collapse; her internal organs were completely destroyed, and she was on her last breath. Mechanical organs could not support her abilities, and special organs would only be infected and mutated by her in her current state. Originally, she wanted Xu Anran's organs, which would have been the safest option, but now that was unattainable.

Desin could only replace Aure's organs with those of a fallen angel. After the organ replacement, Aure was no longer a simple human. Her current abilities were comparable to those of a god, but she had lost human emotions. However, she still had her memories, and her purpose in coming here was to kill Amy, the murderer.

Ollie placed Desin in a safe spot and coldly watched Xu Anran. Xu Anran and her companions were in poor condition; they had just dealt with too many monsters and had very little energy left.

Xu Anran said to Luo Xi, who was standing to the side, "Go and put that god's body into storage first." Luo Xi nodded, went into the triangular building, and put the god's body into the space.

Xu Anran then said to Qi Ziqi, "You just used up too much energy. Don't fight yet. Recover some. I'll hold the fort."

No sooner had she finished speaking than Ollie's attack came. She spread her arms and shot countless black flames at Xu Anran. Once touched by those flames, they could not be extinguished and would corrode him.

As Xu Anran dodged and ran, she lured Aoli away. During the chase, Xu Anran was nearly hit by the black flames, but she used golden light to block them and quickly evaded them. Before she could even catch her breath, Aoli launched an even fiercer attack.

Her dark eyes gleamed coldly, and then a thick, inky liquid began to appear around her, instantly corroding anything that touched it. Xu Anran tried to escape, but there was nowhere to go, because she was covered in this liquid, like a barrier that prevented anyone inside from getting out and anyone outside from getting in.

Seeing this, Xu Anran could only attack Aoli in the sky, but soon her area was also covered in this liquid. Luo Xi and Qi Ziqi rushed over and kept attacking upwards, but to no avail.

The liquid surrounded Xu Anran, submerging her.

Just as Luo Xi and Qi Ziqi were in despair, their eyes filled with tears, they shouted hoarsely, wanting to perish together with Aoli in the sky.

Suddenly, a golden light burst out from the black liquid, and then more and more golden lights appeared, scattering the liquid and making it disappear.

Within that golden light, a giant dragon appeared.

The dragon was pure white, its golden eyes fixed on Ollie. Ollie trembled under those eyes; this was the first time she had felt so afraid since waking up.

She trembled, trying to flap her wings and fly away. But the dragon did not grant her wish. Instead, a large golden bird enveloped Ollie's body, the dark clouds in the sky dispersed, and a holy song came from above. Ollie knelt down in fear.

Then, under the gaze of the dragon's golden eyes, a golden light enveloped Ollie. Her expression of fear froze on her face. She clasped her hands together as if praying for atonement, and knelt in the birdcage, turning into a black statue. Then it shrank smaller and smaller until it became a figurine about the size of a human hand.

The birdcage disappeared, and the figurine that Ollie had transformed into floated in front of the dragon. The dragon's figure gradually faded, and from its illusory body, Xu Anran could be seen becoming clearer and clearer.

Her hair turned silver-white, and her eyes, like those of a dragon, were golden. In those eyes, one could not see any human emotion—no anger, no joy, only a warm feeling that encompassed all things.

The figurine came into Xu Anran's hands, and she held it, stepping out of the dragon's phantom and coming to Luo Xi and Qi Ziqi's side. She gazed at the two of them, and with a wave of her golden hand, their injuries healed, and their previously depleted energy was replenished.

The dragon groaned and then vanished into thin air.

The people outside the city remained bewildered as they watched the dragon vanish. One of the teachers leading the group asked, "Is this a new god?"

"If it was something, why did it disappear in such a short time?"

"We need to report back."

…………

Meanwhile, massive unrest was erupting in various cities across the Federation. Xu Anran's leak of divine aura caused the gods, who should have awakened by now, to awaken prematurely on this very day.

They broke free from their shackles and descended to earth. The Sun God, looking at the believers before him, just as Xu Anran had foreseen, waved his hands, and the human world began to suffer. Other gods followed suit, and the federal government, having received the news, quickly went to resolve the situation.

But the gods were too numerous and powerful, and humanity's abilities were so weak that it was utterly powerless to contend with them. Chaos erupted in the city; people wanted to escape, but where could they go?

Looking at the devastation, White ran home, wanting to face the disaster with his family. His parents watched him, urging him to leave, to take his ticket and leave this world. But how could White leave alone? He couldn't bring himself to do it.

"White! Leave here, leave with the family's mission, and go out to find a way to survive. Staying here will only lead to your demise. Only by leaving can you explore a path to survival for the family and for this world. Don't be a coward!" Looking at his father and listening to his words, White knew that he was hope, the hope for the continuation of the family.

But he still said, unwilling to give up, "I'll give the ticket to my brother..."

A slap interrupted him. His mother said, "This is your ticket, and it's also your responsibility. Don't run away from it!"

Finally, White left this world amidst the embrace and blessings of his family, heading to the waiting room for the high-speed train. His tears flowed uncontrollably as he looked at his smiling parents and brothers seeing him off. He thought he would find a way back to life, and that he would return someday.

In the experimental building, the Kun holding the key sensed Xu Anran's call. Knowing the time had come, it opened the cell door and, together with all the monsters there, boarded the flying vehicle Xu Anran had prepared for them, leaving the place and heading to Xu Anran's location to find her.

The day before the competition, Xu Anran gave the key to the cell to Kun and accepted the service of the monsters in the experimental building.

The aircraft arrived in the airspace above the city and slowly came to a stop.

Upon seeing an unidentified object flying towards them, all the teachers who remained on site became alert.
