The hot spring on the estate was carved out from the mountain. When Li Chenjiao went up the mountain to Shuyuan, she was escorted by servants and guards from the estate.
Because it was on a mountain, Li Chenjiao could still see the scenery of the village below and the brightly lit place in the distance when she looked back as she went up the mountain.
It's obvious that it's the Forbidden City.
In the hot spring pools of Shuyuan, mist rises from the clear pools, and the steam lingers for a long time.
Li Chenjiao nestled against the side, her back flushed from soaking in the hot spring, echoing the delicate whiteness of her neck.
Her black hair was originally held up with a hairpin, but one or two mischievous strands still slipped out and silently slid down her delicate shoulders.
Hearing the sound of the beaded curtain of the autumn pot, Li Chenjiao, whose eyebrows had been lowered, finally lifted her head slightly. She yawned wearily, sending out two waves of water, and asked in a languid voice, "What time is it?"

Qiu Hu bent down to add some fruit and then replied, "I haven't heard any noise yet, but I saw the candlelight coming from down the mountain, so I guess Fourth Master will be here soon."
Li Chenjiao straightened up, which caused a series of splashing sounds.
"Then I won't go for it. Maybe there will be another chance in the future."
Li Chenjiao stepped barefoot onto the white jade steps, her skin feeling the coolness. She shivered and tightened the small blanket draped over Qiu Hu.
Beneath the small, plush blanket, her jade-like body lay sprawled. The hairpins and ornaments in Li Chenjiao's hair had long been removed, and her black hair contrasted beautifully with her snow-white skin, making the vermilion on her lips appear even more radiant.
It was at this moment that Fourth Master lifted the curtain and came in, bringing with him a gust of cool wind. Li Chenjiao subconsciously wrapped the quilt tighter around herself.
There were many gates outside Shu Garden, and Su Peisheng and his servants had long been kept out.
Li Chenjiao peeked out and said in her usual tone, "Master is here."
Qiu Hu tactfully withdrew.
Once the servants were gone from the hot spring pool, the Fourth Master became unsteady on his feet.
Li Chenjiao, wrapped in a small blanket, stepped forward, wanting to help Fourth Master.
She could tell at a glance that Fourth Master looked like he was drunk.
Fourth Master leaned against the wall, his posture upright: "Walk slowly."
Fourth Master naturally saw Li Chenjiao walking barefoot. Fortunately, it was summer and she was in a hot spring, so she didn't have to worry about catching a cold.
As Li Chenjiao approached, so too did her fragrance.
Fourth Master remained still, allowing Li Chenjiao to move closer and closer, catching a glimpse of her beautiful features.
Li Chenjiao gently helped Fourth Master up, but couldn't help wrinkling her nose at the smell of alcohol on him: "Master is drunk, you should rest early."
Li Chenjiao dared not let Fourth Master near the hot spring pool now.
Fortunately, Fourth Master didn't linger and let Li Chenjiao lead him outside. During this time, he only spoke once: "Always running around."
Li Chen looked back at him with a playful reproach: "Wasn't Master busy the other day?"
Fourth Master remained silent.
Li Chenjiao didn't go too far outside, after all, she hadn't changed her clothes yet. After the Fourth Master sat down, Li Chenjiao called out to Su Peisheng from behind the screen.

There is a small kitchen in Shuyuan, but most of the time it is used to boil water and heat up food.
The small kitchen was heating water, so Li Chenjiao changed into light clothes and went straight to the small courtyard room next to the hot spring pool.
The lights in the small courtyard room were on. Li Chenjiao felt hot as soon as she got out of the hot spring pool. Soaking in a hot spring in the summer is not a good idea.
Fortunately, an ice chest had already been placed in the room. As soon as Li Chenjiao entered, she felt the coolness. Fourth Master was not there, and judging from the noise, he was probably in the purification room.
The fruit that hadn't been finished earlier was also served up by Qiu Hu, and Li Chenjiao ate the fruit in peace while waiting for the Fourth Master.
After the Fourth Master finished bathing, Li Chenjiao did not smell any alcohol when he approached. Li Chenjiao quietly breathed a sigh of relief.
Li Chenjiao didn't ask what was beside Fourth Master, but served the warm tea that Qiu Hu had served earlier.
After the Fourth Master drank his tea, Li Chenjiao, unusually, got up to extinguish the candle.
As the room darkened, Li Chenjiao got into bed. Knowing that Fourth Master wouldn't act recklessly when drunk, she felt drowsy and almost fell asleep the moment she closed her eyes.
The room was cool and quiet, and even after sobering up, Fourth Master wasn't sleepy at all.
Just as I was starting to feel sleepy, I heard Li Chenjiao, who had been breathing steadily and had fallen asleep, muttering in her sleep.
"Soaking in a hot spring in winter is so comfortable, so relaxing."
The Fourth Master was stunned for a moment, then couldn't help but laugh when he realized what was happening.
The Fourth Master hadn't even had a chance to tell Li Chenjiao that he was out to relax, but Li Chenjiao herself was certainly quite relaxed.
Fourth Master has already heard from Fu Lu what Li Chenjiao did at the New Green Hall today.
Fourth Master knew that Li Chenjiao was already half asleep and probably couldn't hear his reply.
Answering the ramblings of a sleeping person was like coaxing a child to the Fourth Prince.
Fourth Master has not yet done such a thing.
For some inexplicable reason, the Fourth Master still managed to answer.
