This left Li Chenjiao somewhat confused.
Little did she know that the Fourth Prince was in a good mood because his mind had become calmer during the time he and the Second Princess had spent listening to the rain under the eaves.
The two of them went out from the inner room together. The little girl outside had already sat up straight. When she saw Li Chenjiao, she smiled with her eyes crinkling, but she still sat obediently.
Li Chenjiao said, "We've kept our Aman waiting."
The little girl looked up and smiled, "It's alright."
It was so beautiful that it melted everyone's heart. Li Chenjiao exclaimed and praised the little girl, "Mother thinks our Aman has become even more beautiful."
She didn't say the little girl was sensible, she just praised Aman for being pretty.
The little girl spoke clearly: "Mother, you're pretty too."

The Fourth Master had already taken his seat. After the mother and daughter had been talking for a while, he coughed lightly and said, "Let's have a meal."
Li Chenjiao turned around, put her arm around the Second Princess, looked at the Fourth Master with a smile, and said, "Look, your father is hungry."
The little girl also let out a soft "Ah!" Her sweet, childlike voice was truly endearing, and her smile was equally adorable: "Aman is hungry too."
Li Chenjiao and Fourth Master smiled at each other.
After dinner, the little girl was led by Madam Chen to the corridor to digest her food, and Madam Chen could be heard singing nursery rhymes from time to time.
After the maids cleared away the bowls and dishes, the Fourth Prince looked at Li Chenjiao and said, "Second Princess is very good."
Li Chenjiao, without any modesty, smiled and said, "Then I must take credit for this."
Fourth Master raised his hand and touched her forehead: "You don't refuse at all."
Li Chenjiao made a strange expression, and then leaned back into Fourth Master's arms.
The rain was pouring down outside, but laughter filled the courtyard.
