Qing'er: "Benjamin, can you make a copy? I want one too."
Yongqi: "Benjamin, I want one too."
"Yes, yes, yes, don't worry, I'll give each of you one, and I guarantee they'll be exactly the same."
Listening to what the people opposite him were saying, Benjamin patted his chest and gave his assurance.
And so, under Benjamin's guidance, the five of them took their positions: Shen Nian in the middle, Qing'er on the left, Xiao Yanzi on the right, Ertai behind Shen Nian, and Yongqi behind Xiao Yanzi.
This scene was recorded by Benjamin and became a great comfort to them as they later scattered across the world.
The adults opposite, watching the group of young people painting, stopped their steps at the Emperor's signal and simply watched the painting in silence, without making a sound to disturb them.
Because of the painting incident, Qing'er did not ask Xiao Yanzi about their secrets as she did in the original drama.
"Yongqi, what do you think? Should we tell Niannian and Qing'er the secret?"
In the afternoon, Chen Nian didn't ride a horse again, but returned to the carriage, where he ate and drank and discussed storybooks with Qing'er.
Xiao Yanzi rode along with the four guards, and somehow the conversation turned to Qing'er and Shen Nian. Xiao Yanzi looked conflicted.
Just like in the original drama, they discussed whether or not to tell Qing'er the secret, except this time there was more hesitation in their conversation.
"Little Swallow, don't you want your head? I'm telling you, you absolutely mustn't do anything reckless. You have to discuss anything with us first, and don't let anything slip by yourself, understand?"
Hearing Xiao Yanzi's words, Yongqi turned to the side and tapped Xiao Yanzi's head, giving her some advice.
