Chapter 344 Why am I still sleepy?

Two years have passed.

Ertai spent some time in Dali with Chen Nian and attended Yongqi and Xiaoyanzi's wedding. Qing'er and the others also finished dealing with their things and came to Mongolia with Xinrong to attend Xiaoyanzi and Yongqi's wedding. The group then went to Mongolia with Saiya and stayed there for half a year.

They had barely arrived in Mongolia when they learned that Qing'er and Xiao Yanzi were pregnant. After Qing'er's first three months were stable, Yongxuan immediately took her back to the Qing Dynasty. Yongqi also planned to visit Consort Yu at Mount Wutai to report the good news, so he went back as well. Xinrong also went back with them.

Benjamin Cailian also visited Mongolia for a while before leaving.

Saiya Erting was going to live in Mongolia for a year, so she did not go back.

They made a pact that Qing'er would inform them before she gave birth so they could rush back. Ertai also planned to take Chen Nian to see more of the place. After Qing'er and the others left, Ertai also took Chen Nian with him, but the two groups went in different directions.

They traveled at a leisurely pace, stopping frequently to see the sights everywhere. During this time, they returned to the capital to visit Qing'er and Xiao Yanzi's child, staying for half a month before setting off again.

Finally, they stopped in Jiangnan, where they planned to stay for a while longer.

"Nian'er, dinner is ready."

Another day, Ertai, feeling full and refreshed, made breakfast and returned to his room, where he saw someone still wrapped in the blankets, unwilling to come out.

He shook his head helplessly, placed the food on the tea table, stepped forward, skillfully pulled back the quilt, revealing Shen Nian's flushed face, bent down and kissed Shen Nian's soft face, his eyes full of love.

"I made your favorite wontons, would you like some? Ah—"

Ertai got up and brought over the wontons he had just made, then bent down, picked the person up, and leaned against him, feeding him the wontons.

Chen Nian didn't even open her eyes, leaning against Ertai and slowly eating her wontons.

"No, I don't want it."

After eating a few, Chen Nian raised her hand and pushed away Ertai's hand, which was about to continue feeding her.

"Is it not to your liking?"

Ertai glanced at the person in his arms, then at the bowl of wontons in his hand, which was less than half the usual amount, and asked with a puzzled look in his eyes.

"No, I'm not hungry."

Chen Nian shook his head and tried to shrink further under the covers.

"Then I'll eat it?"

Seeing that Chen Nian said so, Ertai believed her and quickly finished the wontons in his bowl. He also ate more, and when he finished cooking, he brought them to her.

I plan to wait until he's hungry again and then make it for her again.

"Still not fully awake? Are you that tired?"

Seeing the person who kept shrinking into the quilt, Ertai chuckled and asked, but still let Chen Nian shrink into the quilt. However, he also lay down after him, hugged him in his arms, and kissed Chen Nian's face.

"You're bad."

Feeling the touch on her face, Chen Nian reached out and pushed away the person messing with her face, muttering to herself, and raised her hand to pull the blanket over herself, looking drowsy.

It's so annoying! Ertai seems to never get tired of it. Two years have passed, and Ertai has not only not reduced the number of times he torments her, but he also torments her every time they move to a new place.

Not only did he keep making a fuss, but he also tried different things. Those positions made her blush and her heart race. She didn't know where he learned them. Every time she disagreed, he would act pitiful. Even though she knew he was more responsive to gentle persuasion than force, he would still call her "sister" in a soft and coquettish way.

Calling someone "sister" comes at a price.

Damn it, fine, fine, he can do whatever he wants. Even though she was incredibly ashamed, she still did what he asked her to do. In the end, Chen Nian was exhausted, while Er Tai looked completely satisfied.

"Okay, okay, I'm bad, I'm bad, but Nian'er, you're enjoying it too, aren't you?"

Despite being rejected by Chen Nian, Ertai was not annoyed. He curled his lips and said it was no wonder that his wife was too tempting and he could not control himself. Ertai stared at Chen Nian's red lips, swallowed, and his Adam's apple bobbed up and down.

These words made Shen Nian's already red face turn even redder. She pulled the blanket tighter, trying to shrink further inside.

This person is really shameless.

It's as if he doesn't enjoy it.

However, while it was enjoyable, it was also genuinely tiring.

"If Nian'er doesn't want to wake up, then I'll personally help my wife wake up."

Ertai pulled the blanket up, stopping Chen Nian from trying to escape into bed. After saying that, he couldn't resist leaning down and kissing her.

"Hmm—"

All words were swallowed.

The two took another nap, sleeping until noon.

"I'm hungry, I want to eat."

Chen Nian rolled over in Ertai's arms, pulled the blanket over her head, and mumbled something in a low voice.

"Okay, husband, go and make it for me. Don't keep yourself cooped up."

Ertai lifted the blanket covering the person in his arms, kissed their forehead tenderly, then got dressed, got out of bed, and went to make something to eat.

...

"I made your favorite sweet and sour pork ribs, aren't you getting up yet?"

When Ertai returned with the rice balls, he saw Chen Nian curled up in bed, fast asleep again. Just like in the morning, he pulled her out of bed.

I raised my hand and touched Chen Nian's forehead, then touched myself. I don't have a fever.

"Nian'er, are you feeling unwell? I've been really restraining myself lately, but you look so tired."

Worry filled Ertai's eyes.

He's been really restrained lately, only going at it once or twice before stopping. But Little Princess always seems very tired, just like before when she'd go at it all night and then be exhausted the next day.

"No, I'm just sleepy. Don't worry, I'm not feeling unwell anywhere."
