Chapter 118 Pregnancy 2

Children's teeth are always small and white. Thanks to the system's help, Yinreng learned to take good care of his teeth from a young age, so he never had cavities.

Her skin was fair and tender, and you could tell from her teeth that she was very well-behaved.

Kangxi curiously pinched and shook it, somewhat excited, as this was the first time he had ever seen someone lose a tooth.

Who knew that joy would turn to sorrow? Hearing a 'crack', he froze on the spot.

Yinreng was also stunned, and then his eyes became redder and redder, and tears began to well up in his eyes.

A violent storm is coming soon.

Mingxiu was initially amused by the father and son's loose teeth, but then she noticed that their expressions were changing.

Before they could react, they heard Yinreng burst into tears.

While crying, she stuck out her tongue and licked the spot where she was missing a tooth.

Kangxi felt a chill run down his spine and awkwardly lowered his hand, still holding Yinreng's baby tooth. He looked at Mingxiu beside him with some embarrassment.

When Mingxiu realized what was happening, she froze for a moment, then burst into laughter, clutching her stomach and collapsing onto the table.

He pointed at the two people, his fingers trembling, unable to speak.

Yinreng, who was still crying, stopped crying when he heard Mingxiu's laughter. He exchanged a glance with Kangxi, and the two looked at Mingxiu with resentment.

Mingxiu felt uncomfortable under the two people's resentful gazes and stopped laughing.

He shook his head helplessly and quickly called for someone to bring a handkerchief and water so that Yinreng could rinse his mouth.

The blood in his mouth finally stopped.

After tidying up, Mingxiu saw that Yinreng was still looking at Kangxi with a resentful expression on his face, and she smiled.

He patted Yinreng's head and took the tooth from Kangxi's hand.

“Baocheng, I’ve heard people say that if you want your teeth to grow back properly, you should bury your upper teeth in the ground if they fall out, and throw your lower teeth on the roof if they fall out. Since your upper teeth have fallen out, we’ll bury them in the ground, okay? After a while, your teeth will grow back properly.” Mingxiu sat on the couch, looking at Yinreng, and said gently.

Influenced by her tone, Yinreng nodded and still complained to Mingxiu about how his father was bad and had his teeth pulled out.

Mingxiu chuckled and said, "Yes, your Emperor Father is naughty. How about this, we'll punish your Emperor Father by not letting him eat here tonight, okay?"

Yinreng thought for a moment before nodding. If his father didn't eat here that night, no one would be able to take his favorite meat from him. The two of them chuckled foolishly.

Emperor Kangxi watched speechlessly from the side. Although he was the one who pulled the tooth, he really didn't do it on purpose.

Moreover, looking at the silly-looking Yinreng, Kangxi felt a little disgusted. He was already a big kid, yet he was still so easily fooled. If he couldn't eat here, couldn't he eat somewhere else?

Noticing Kangxi's gaze, Mingxiu quietly turned her head and glared at him secretly.

Then they went to the courtyard with Yinreng, found a small shovel, and buried his teeth.

Yinreng carefully selected a small spot, right next to Mingxiu's little garden.

He was only satisfied after burying it properly. Later, Emperor Kangxi exempted him from his homework during the New Year period, and Yinreng generously forgave him.

Although losing a tooth isn't a big deal, the vain little prince still can't accept having others see his mouth full of black holes, so he can only reduce his talking and try not to talk at all when possible.

Mingxiu found it really funny; even a little kid like that knows how to be vain.

Yinreng looked at Mingxiu's uncontrollable laughter with some helplessness, but he didn't want to say anything, so he quickly finished his ice bowl and went to the toy room next door to play with his things.

He spends most of his time here during the Spring Festival. He gets up in the morning and goes straight here to have breakfast, then goes out to play with his older brother or study with the cats. After dinner in the evening, he goes back to Yuqing Palace to rest.

Emperor Kangxi thought it was during the New Year period and didn't say anything to him.

That day, Mingxiu sat alone in the warm pavilion, flipping through the book in her hand with some boredom. She had been reading too many picture books lately, so Kangxi confiscated them.

Furthermore, she was required to study one article every day, flipping through the books in her hands, which Mingxiu simply couldn't stand.

Although she has been here for several years, she still dislikes the convoluted and ugly classical Chinese texts that she has to understand.

Just as Mingxiu was getting increasingly annoyed, Green Bamboo walked over.

"Your Majesty, it's getting late. Would you like to take a bath first?"

Mingxiu looked up and saw that it was indeed late. These past few days, that brat Yinreng had been up to something. He left quickly after dinner, whereas before he would stay until almost bedtime.

Mingxiu found this quite uncomfortable. She put down her book and nodded. It was good to finish her shower early so she could lie in bed and enjoy watching her melodramatic TV series.

Once inside the bathroom, he asked Green Bamboo and the several maids serving him to take off his clothes, and then asked them to step back.

She's not used to having someone around when she showers or goes to the toilet, so Mingxiu usually does it alone at these times.

She obediently walked to the bathtub and lay down, letting out a comfortable sigh. Although bathing in the tub was very comfortable, she still missed taking a shower. It wasn't for any other reason than that it was faster, but she just didn't know how to make it happen.

The room was filled with smoke, and various prepared flower petals were placed nearby. Mingxiu glanced at them, gently grabbed a handful, and put them on the water. The colors immediately became very beautiful.
