It was still drizzling, which made cleaning outside quite inconvenient. It was bad enough that it was raining, but the ground was so wet that it was hard to sweep.
After finally finishing my work, it was already getting dark. I straightened up and was just about to go back to rest and take some cold medicine when I heard a sharp sound.

After everyone had gone over, Mingxiu and the others got up and looked up. They saw a corner of a garment had already entered the room, and two eunuchs were standing at the door.

Liang Jiugong was talking to the maidservant beside the Empress when he felt a burning gaze on him. He turned his head and saw a little palace maid smiling at him. She had puppy-dog eyes and a round, chubby face that made his heart soften.
She smiled at Mingxiu and then ignored her.
Mingxiu returned to her room, satisfied. Although she didn't know what the Emperor was like, meeting Eunuch Liang, who served the Emperor, today was quite a pleasant experience.
This is amazing! These are people I used to only see in history books, and now I can actually see them in person.
