After all the examinations were completed, Kangxi grinned as he looked at the examination report in his hand before finally relaxing completely.
Mingxiu looked at Kangxi's silly expression and said helplessly, "Alright, are you relaxed now? Let's go back quickly, I'm starving."
"Alright, let's not go back. I'll go get something to eat first, and then we'll go back," Kangxi said, pulling Mingxiu along.
Mingxiu nodded. There was no question of whether it was possible or not. She was already hungry, and all she wanted was to be able to eat as soon as possible.
After finishing their meal, the two drove straight home.

Kangxi tucked Mingxiu in, watching her peaceful sleep on the bed. He smiled gently, touched Mingxiu's belly, and then sat down in the living room to browse some maternity and baby products on his phone.
Although their house is quite well-equipped, it lacks some things related to children, so everything needs to be carefully prepared, including a children's room.
Kangxi sat on the sofa like a lovesick fool, looking at baby products on his phone, finding everything he saw appealing and wanting to buy everything. After selecting a huge pile of items, he finally placed his order.
When Mingxiu woke up from her nap, she was stunned by what she saw in half of the living room.
"My God, what are you doing?" Mingxiu said in surprise.
Kangxi was unpacking packages one by one when he saw Mingxiu come out. He helped Mingxiu sit down in a chair and said, "Now that the children have arrived, it's natural to prepare things for them first. These are all things I bought for them."
Upon hearing Kangxi's words, Mingxiu's lips twitched. She stared incredulously at the Lego set on the ground—over 1000 pieces. "This is for kids too? Did you give birth to a child like Zhizhi or something? Can a child play with such advanced games from birth? I still don't understand it." Mingxiu was utterly speechless.
"They might not understand it now, but they'll definitely be able to figure it out when they're a little older. It's better to prepare in advance. It wouldn't be good if the child wanted to play with it later but there wasn't any left to play with," Kangxi said calmly, glancing at the puzzle.
Mingxiu's lips twitched. "Then what is this?" you asked, pointing to a pile of cartoon clothes next to you.
"I've prepared for the son, and naturally I need to prepare for the daughter too. I don't even know if the baby in your belly is a boy or a girl, but I need to make sure everything is ready. Girls all like pretty dresses, right? I've prepared those for her as well. You can see which one you like and wear it." Kangxi said while unpacking the package.
"Alright, enough already. With all this stuff you've prepared, the child won't be able to play with it until they're at least seven or eight years old, and it's been seven or eight years already. Couldn't you have bought it later?" Mingxiu rubbed her forehead, at a loss for words.
"Since you're going to buy these things, you should prepare everything first and then buy whatever you need. I've also prepared things for the baby's newborn, like little clothes, shoes, blankets, and diapers. But you have to wait until after the baby is born to buy them, otherwise they might expire," Kangxi said calmly.
Mingxiu felt she was almost convinced by Kangxi, and sighed, "Alright, alright, then you can buy whatever you want."
In the end, the two bought a huge amount of stuff, which they couldn't carry back at all, so they had to ask the mall staff to deliver it to them.
When Mingxiu returned home, there were already many more baby supplies. These were all things Lin Lin had rushed to buy from abroad and sent back after learning about it.
Mingxiu's mouth twitched as she looked at all the things in the room. She couldn't imagine how much stuff there would be when she was about to give birth. She had only just found out she was pregnant and there was already so much stuff.
Kangxi accepted it well. When he saw the things in the room, he nodded with satisfaction and then began to put them away in different categories.
Mingxiu shook her head helplessly, washed an apple, ate it, and scrolled through her phone. Anyway, these things wouldn't bother her, so she might as well just ignore them.
After becoming pregnant, Mingxiu didn't need to do anything. Kangxi took care of all the housework. As for cooking, Kangxi had also arranged for a maid to cook three meals a day, or order food from outside. In short, everything was taken care of, so Mingxiu didn't need to lift a finger. Her current task was to eat, drink, sleep, and go for walks every day.
