Fourteen stared at Xi Niu, whose face looked pitiful, like a frightened little girl, and had absolutely nothing to do with the White Lotus Sect that Fourth Master had mentioned.
"How is the chief constable? What about the others?" Xiniu asked quickly when she saw Fourteen staring at her.
“Many of us died in the fight just now. The chief constable was also injured,” Fourteen murmured.
"Well then, Fourteen, take me to see the Chief Constable. I know a little about medicine, maybe I can help," Xi Niu said, frowning.
"You also know medicine?" Fourteen asked.
"Yes, I learned some basic medical skills from my neighbor, Doctor Wang, when I was little. Is the chief constable badly injured? Please take me to see him!" Xi Niu said as she walked up to Fourteen.
"Do you recognize this person?" Fourteen stepped aside, revealing the person tied to the tree behind him.
When Xi Niu saw that the man had been beaten black and blue, and was covered in injuries, looking like he was on the verge of death, she quickly pushed him away and asked, "How is he?"
"This man is from the White Lotus Sect. Quickly stop his bleeding. We still need to find out about the White Lotus Sect from him. We can't let him die," Fourteen said.
Xi Niu looked at the man and said, "This man is already beyond saving. I only know a little about medicine. I'm afraid he can't be saved."
Fourteen looked at Xiniu's profile with a complicated expression, and finally had to admit that he hadn't seen the problem with this girl before. Fourteen shook his head and said, "You've been lying to me all along, haven't you? You're actually the last one to slip through the net among those twenty-five. You deliberately tried to get close to me so you could infiltrate my side and harm my Emperor Father."
Seeing that Fourteen no longer believed her and her eyes were filled with despair, Xi Niu still pleaded, "Fourteen, you really misunderstood me. I'm not what you say, you've misunderstood me."

Seeing how solemnly she swore, Fourteen immediately became suspicious, wondering if he had made a mistake, or if she really didn't know anything at all.
"Fourteen, take me to see the chief constable quickly. How badly is he injured? He'll be in danger if he doesn't get his blood replenished," Xiniu said hurriedly.
"Alright, now come with me to find the Chief Constable." Fourteen placed his hand on Xiniu's shoulder. He felt that her whole body was icy cold, which seemed unusual in the hot summer.
When Fourteenth Prince took Xiniu's arm to find Kangxi and the others, a smile unconsciously appeared on Xiniu's lips, though Fourteenth Prince didn't notice.
"Fourteen, where exactly is the chief constable?" Xi Niu asked.
"In an absolutely secluded place, somewhere you'd never even imagine. The head chef should be over there. I'll take you there!" Fourteen said, looking at Xiniu with a meaningful expression.
The two of them walked away together.
