Chapter 1485 was cut off again.

"Master, Master!" Shui Ling stood in front of Lan Qin's gauze curtain and called out softly to Lan Qin.

Lanqin rolled over and vaguely heard a sound, but still refused to open her eyes.

Seeing that Lanqin was turning over inside but still wouldn't move, Shuiling had no choice but to lift the gauze curtain and, steeling herself, whisper in Lanqin's ear, "Master, Master, the Master is coming!"

Lanqin, however, did not hear anything and continued to sleep soundly!

Meanwhile, the Fourth Prince was sitting in his study reading when he suddenly heard Cuiyun's voice outside. He remembered that voice.

"What's all the noise outside?" Fourth Master frowned and put down the book in his hand.

A moment later, the door was opened, and Su Peisheng rushed in, followed by Cuiyun, the maid of Wuya.

"Reporting to Your Majesty, Princess Wuya's maidservant has something to report. This servant said that Your Majesty is reading and should not be disturbed. But Miss Cuiyun insists..." Su Peisheng said, bowing his head. He dared not speak too harshly about the people of the Wuya clan, lest he offend the Fourth Prince.

"Your Majesty, I have urgent business to report to you. Please forgive me!" Cuiyun said first.

Fourth Master asked, "Has something happened to Wanru?" After saying that, he glanced at Su Peisheng.

"Your Majesty, the Princess wishes to invite you to have breakfast. There is something she would like to discuss with you," Cuiyun said with a smile.

A bead of sweat slid down Su Peisheng's forehead. Was this another attempt to intercept his master? What a coincidence! He had just pulled the Fourth Master to the South Courtyard when Wuya's side started making their moves.

"What is it? We can talk about it when I get back tonight!" Fourth Master said after a moment's thought.

Su Peisheng felt a little excited and secretly glanced at Cuiyun a few times.

"Your Majesty, the princess... the princess's figure is getting wider and wider. The princess suspects that someone has done something to her." Cuiyun quickly said when she saw the Fourth Master's refusal.

Fourth Master hated nothing more than anyone resorting to such underhanded tactics in the inner quarters, and immediately frowned, saying, "Such a thing actually happened?"

"The princess only has doubts, so she asked the master to come and discuss it. Otherwise, if the princess's appetite suddenly increases and she gets fatter and fatter, a difficult childbirth is certain," Cuiyun said.

"Su Peisheng, go to the South Courtyard and tell them that I have something to attend to and will visit another time," Fourth Master said, standing up.

Su Peisheng reluctantly agreed.

Fourth Master followed Cuiyun to Wuya's place. Su Peisheng called a servant boy, whispered a nipple in his ear, and then quickly followed Fourth Master.

Those in the South Courtyard were unaware that Fourth Master had been intercepted. They were still urging Lanqin to get up quickly so that she would still be in bed when Fourth Master arrived.

"My lady, please get up! It's almost dawn. What will we do if the master comes if you don't get up?" Si Hua said to Lan Qin, who still refused to get out of bed.

Lanqin had been woken up by the two maids, but she refused to open her eyes. Remembering the Fourth Master's drunken words from yesterday, she didn't want to see that man again.

"Master, didn't you go over last night? Why are you acting so strangely again?" Si Hua saw Lan Qin move her eyelids and knew she was awake.

"Don't mention last night to me!" Lanqin suddenly opened her eyes and said.

Both Si Hua and Shui Ling were startled by Lan Qin's words.

"He's coming for breakfast, so go tell Chef Niu to prepare it," Lanqin said, turning over. "Let Wuxiha come and have breakfast with her father. I'm not serving him!"

"..."

Fourth Master followed Cuiyun to the west courtyard. Coincidentally, Wu's maid was going out to bring breakfast to Wu and the Third Princess when she met Fourth Master and quickly greeted him.

Fourth Master simply nodded and followed Cuiyun toward the Wuya clan.

In order to ensure that the Fourth Prince could have breakfast as soon as he arrived, Lady Wuya had already instructed her maid to bring breakfast over.

"This concubine greets Your Highness!" Uya said hurriedly as the Fourth Prince entered.

"Get up." Fourth Master looked at Wuya's increasingly plump figure and felt a strange sensation. Perhaps he had never seen Wuya Wanru like this before.

"Master, breakfast is ready," said Madam Wuya.

"Well then, let's sit down and have some," Fourth Master said reluctantly.

"Your figure is indeed getting fatter and fatter. How come you can't control your appetite?" Fourth Master couldn't help but ask.

Uya covered her face with her handkerchief, looking aggrieved, and said, "My lord, I don't know what's wrong with me, but my appetite is unusually good. I suspect that someone has tampered with me. I have checked every possible place in the house where they might have done this, and I even had Doctor Lin take my pulse, but they just can't find anything suspicious."

Looking at Wuya's body, which had become so fat that it was almost deformed, the Fourth Prince felt quite strange and asked, "Wanru, do you really not know how to control your appetite?"

Uya nodded, covering her face and saying, "I'm so fat now that I'm almost ashamed to see you, Your Highness."

"Don't cry yet, let me send someone to investigate properly," said the Fourth Master.

Meanwhile, Lanqin, unable to withstand the nagging of her two maids, reluctantly got up. Like a puppet on a string, she let Sihua and Shuiling put her clothes on and let them comb her hair.

Looking at her reflection in the ancient mirror, Lanqin suddenly felt a sense of absurdity about her current situation. Shouldn't she be dressed in a business suit and high heels, introducing rare treasures to visitors in a museum?

Just then, Baoqin suddenly walked in and beckoned to Shuiling, signaling her to leave. Sihua was combing Lanqin's hair when she saw Shuiling leave, and a thought popped into her head: Hopefully, the master won't not come again!

When Shui Ling came in again, Si Hua secretly observed her expression and saw that she looked dejected.

"What's wrong?" Lanqin noticed Shuiling's expression and asked.

"Master, um, um, the master suddenly has something to attend to and won't be coming for the meal," Shui Ling said, bowing her head.

Lanqin was stunned for a moment, then stood up and said, "Then I'll go back to sleep. Don't call me again."

Having said that, Lanqin began to take off her clothes, then jumped onto the bed, covered herself with the quilt, and went to sleep. Neither of the two maids dared to say anything more, and quietly went out to wait for Cui Niang to arrive.

"Didn't we agree on this? What happened?" Si Hua asked.

"They said the Uya clan sent someone to invite them over again. They're shameless, it's infuriating!" Shui Ling said.

"That's really too much!" Si Hua was also quite angry.

If Lanqin knew that it was Wuya who had intercepted the Fourth Master again, who knows what she would think. So the two maids didn't dare to say anything to Lanqin at all.
