Chapter 1932 Aunt and Nephew

"Aunt!" Ulanara Shuzhen took advantage of Irgen's afternoon rest and, with the help of her maid, said she was going out for a walk. But as soon as they were out in the open and no one was watching, she immediately went to the main courtyard and met the Fujin.

"You've come!" The Fujin was practicing calligraphy in her study. This was a habit she had cultivated over many years; she had spent the past ten years standing here, writing each stroke carefully.

"Shuzhen should have come to see her aunt long ago, but she has been busy. I'm sorry to have kept her waiting," Ulanara Shuzhen said, bowing her head.

"It's alright. I originally asked you to serve that Irgen clan woman well. How is it? Has she lowered her guard against you yet?" The princess continued writing stroke by stroke, showing no intention of stopping.

"She almost completely trusts her niece now. She's naive and simple-minded; her niece observes the rules before her every day and always acts weak in front of her, so she genuinely believes her niece is willing to serve her," Ulanara Shuzhen said with a faint smile. She was very familiar with this kind of trick back in the Ulanara household. As a concubine's daughter, she had to be tolerant and yielding towards the legitimate daughter in every way; otherwise, how could she, born to an unfavored concubine, gain Yingge's favor? Besides Xueying, this Shuzhen, whose appearance wasn't particularly outstanding, was Yingge's most beloved daughter. This time, she married Hongshi as a concubine, not the principal wife, but Hongshi was the son of the Fourth Prince, making his family one of the best in the capital. For a concubine's daughter to marry into the royal family was already extremely rare.

“Very good, continue to gain her trust. Then slowly plant the seed in Hongshi’s heart, making him feel that you are the right person to be his principal wife. Your aunt will help you take the position of principal wife. Just do what your aunt asks you to do well.” The Fujin then looked up at Ulanara Shuzhen and said.

"Yes. Father has already told Shuzhen that after she marries into the family, everything will be done according to Aunt's wishes. Shuzhen will do whatever Aunt asks her to do." Shuzhen said ingratiatingly. She knew that her current opportunity was due to her being a concubine's daughter, while Xueying, who was born a legitimate daughter, was unwilling to become a concubine.

"Very good. I didn't expect you to be so much more obedient than Xueying. Given time, once Hongshi discovers your goodness, Irgen will realize she's just a brainless woman and will have no status." A glint of malice flashed in the Fujin's eyes, but it vanished without a trace, as if it had never existed.

"Yes. Aunt, then Shuzhen will go back now." Shuzhen said, "After Irgen has rested for the afternoon, Shuzhen will go and talk to her."

"Yes, go ahead," the princess nodded approvingly.

After Ulanara Shuzhen left, the Fujin took a sip of tea before saying to Lingxiu, "You said that after hearing those words, Namin didn't say anything and just turned around and left?"

"Yes. I told her that her birth mother was murdered by Nan Xiaoyuan and Wu Shi in collusion, but she didn't quite believe me. She even scolded me for talking nonsense," the leader said.

"Did anyone see it?" the princess asked, frowning.

“No. I deliberately avoided people,” Lingxiu said.

"Let Shuiling go and talk to her again. Let her make up some baseless stories to tell that silly child. Let her know what kind of person her foster mother is, and tell her not to be with them anymore. If Yanyu knew this in the afterlife, how could she rest in peace?" the Fujin said sadly.

"Yes, this servant will go and inform Madam Ji immediately." Lingxiu withdrew. This was the day she had been waiting for, waiting for the Fujin to awaken from her slumber and slowly reclaim her power.

Meanwhile, Namin had locked herself in her room for three days. She refused to go out, refused to speak to Wu Shi, and even refused to eat. Only after her personal maid pleaded with her did she finally take a bite.

"Third Sister!" After hearing Lanqin's words, Bechuk came to Wu Shi's place to see Namin. The three of them had practically grown up together.

"Bechuk!" Namin sat on the bed, his expression indifferent, but when he heard the childish voice outside the room, a glimmer of light finally appeared in his eyes.

"Third sister, it's me, Bechuk. Can you open the door?" Bechuk had heard about Namin's situation from her mother and came after Lanqin's instructions. Although she was younger than Ushiha and Namin, she had always been very composed, unlike a typical eleven-year-old girl.

“Come in. But only one of you can come in,” Namin said.

"Alright, I'll come in alone. Open the door quickly." Bechuk smiled at Wu Shi behind him, then gestured for them to leave quickly.

Wu Shi overheard their conversation and, upon hearing this, immediately gave Bechuk a relieved smile before leaving.

The door opened, and Bechuk pushed it open, tiptoeing inside without even bringing his personal maid with him.

The room was dimly lit, with no windows open. The flowers in the vase had withered, and Namin was sitting on the bed, looking tired and listless.

"Third sister, what's wrong with you?" Although Bechuk knew that Namin hadn't been feeling well these past few days, he didn't expect her to be like this.
