The delicate plum blossoms, with their pink faces and gentle smiles, are tender and shy, exuding charm. Along the way, a beautiful woman with graceful bearing glances and expressive eyes conveys deep affection.
Xueying couldn't resist stopping under a plum tree and reaching out to brush away the snow clinging to it. The plum blossoms were vibrant and delicate, their petals like jade. A fragrant aroma wafted towards her, serene and delightful, refreshing and soothing.
She didn't know how much time had passed, but Xueying felt a little cold. She turned around and looked around, but there was no one around.
Xueying then took out the short flute from her sleeve, thought for a moment, and began to play "Plum Blossom Chant." She wanted the flute music to guide Hongzhou to find her.
The sound of the flute was like the breath of an icy spring, then like waves crashing in the ocean, then like snowflakes fluttering down, then like a whirlwind rising rapidly through a canyon, then like the Milky Way flowing quietly in the dead of night...
"Beichuk's flute is playing; she's looking for us." Mingyu and Hongli were admiring the plum blossoms not far from Xueying, so they were the first to hear her playing the flute.
"Judging from the sound of the flute, she should not be far from us." Hongli stopped and listened carefully to the sound of the flute, slightly surprised that Biechuk could play the flute so well.
"Why don't we go find her?" Mingyu suggested.
“I’ll go find her. Just wait here. I see your shoes are already a little wet; if you walk any further, they’ll get even wetter. I’ll bring her here,” Hongli said to Mingyu.
Mingyu looked down at her toes, which were indeed a little wet from the snow and felt cold. She nodded and said, "Then I'll wait for you here."
"Don't worry, I'll be back in a bit. I won't lose you," Hongli said, noticing the look on Mingyu's face.
"Okay. Then I'll wait here. Go quickly," Mingyu said.
Hongli left Fucha Mingyu standing there and followed the sound of the flute.
After he walked around a few plum trees, he finally vaguely saw a person standing in front of him, playing the flute with her hands raised. However, the cloak she was wearing was not the black mink cloak that Ushiha wore, but a white fox fur cloak just like Mingyu's.
Hongli couldn't help but wonder: Could it be Wuxiha?
The sound of the flute was plaintive and sorrowful, intertwining with the fragrance of plum blossoms to create a subtly elegant melody. Hongli stared at that retreating figure, momentarily captivated.
When the music ended, Hongli was still standing under the plum tree behind Xueying. She was completely focused on the flute in her hands and did not notice that someone had been listening to her flute playing.
"Why are you wearing Ushiha's cloak?" Hongli naturally recognized that this woman was not his fourth sister, but Ulanara Xueying, whom he had never liked.
Xueying turned around abruptly, a red tassel brushing against her cheek as she looked at the newcomer in surprise.
“Ushiha said he wanted to switch, so he switched with me,” Xueying said, trying to remain calm.
Hongli suddenly realized that his heart had almost skipped a beat just now, the instant Ulanara Xueying turned her head. However, in order not to let the person in front of him notice his lapse in composure, he quickly said, "I gave Bechuk a flute, and I thought she was playing it. Are you lost?"
Xueying lowered her head, not wanting to tell Hongli that she was waiting for Hongzhou to bring her painting supplies, so she said, "Hmm, I was so engrossed in my painting that I forgot the way I came. How is Fourth Prince here?"
“I heard your flute playing and thought it was Biechuk, so I came looking for you. Mingyu is still waiting over there. Would you like to come with me?” Hongli said.
