Chapter 2106 Horrifying Situation

Highly recommended:

"Inside! There are people inside!" The person lying on the ground, seeing that someone had arrived, calmed down a little and said excitedly.

Upon hearing that there were people inside, Seventeen's face lit up with joy, and he asked, "Then why are you so terrified?"

The county official said, "I just went over to look through the window, but the window was opened and a face appeared inside. It was terrifying."

Seeing the fear in his eyes, Seventeen asked sternly, "What's inside?"

"Your Excellency, I think I just saw human remains inside!" The county clerk's eyes still showed fear as he excitedly reported.

Seventeen frowned and stared at him, then said, "Break down the door and go in to see what's going on!"

Seeing the county constable so frightened, what was the situation inside the house? Seventeenth Master's heart tightened, and he led his men to the gate.

"You all line up and try to break down the door! You two, go guard the back door," Seventeen said to his guards. They hesitated for a moment, then did as he was told.

Nine county constables, working in pairs, used their elbows to ram the tightly closed wooden door. They went back and forth like this until the door was finally broken by the wooden latches.

The door was finally forced open, and a strong smell of blood wafted out of the room. Everyone instinctively covered their mouths and noses.

After the smell dissipated, Seventeenth Master led his men slowly toward the door.

"Let's go in and take a look!" said Seventeen.

Four or five county constables exchanged glances, then boldly went inside together. Seventeenth Master followed behind with the rest of his men.

The room was poorly lit because the windows were covered with paper, and the heavy snow outside had blocked the doors and windows. The weather was also gloomy and overcast, and there were no lights or candles in the room. The air still smelled of blood.

"come out!"

The county constable who went in first dragged a man out of the inner room. The man was filthy, with evil eyes, looking at people as if they were prey. He was escorted out of the room by the constable.

"Your Excellency, there are human remains in the kitchen!" the county clerk exclaimed in astonishment.

"I just saw this person at the window. He... he had a person's arm hanging from his back!" said the county official who had just been startled.

The Seventeenth Master looked at this man and saw that his eyes were like those of a hawk, but his expression was somewhat blank.

"Why did you kill him?" Seventeenth Master asked.

The man seemed not to hear him, still staring blankly at Seventeen without uttering a word.

I'm hungry!

Seeing that he didn't speak, the county constable kicked him in the shin and shouted sternly, "The Imperial Envoy is asking you a question!"

The man cried out in pain after being kicked so suddenly.

"Stop! This imperial envoy did not order you to hit anyone!" Seventeen shouted angrily.

The county constable looked embarrassed; he had intended to curry favor with Seventeen, but instead, he had offended the horse.

"Go and move the severed limbs out!" Seventeen said. Although it sounded strange, it wasn't hard for those of them who practiced martial arts to accept.

After several county constables searched the house inside and out, they picked out some severed limbs and laid them out on the ground. Some of them were just bones with no flesh left.

Everyone was horrified by the gruesome sight before them; it was clear that the severed limbs did not belong to one person.

"You killed all these people?" Seventeen asked in surprise, looking at the person in front of him.
