Meanwhile, Xueying met Hongli at the teahouse that day. Hongli rejected her engagement, and in anger, she threw her cup of tea away and turned to leave. Hongli, covered in tea from Xueying's spilled tea, didn't dare chase after her.

"Yes, why did Father suddenly ask about that day?" Xueying suppressed her shock and forced herself to remain calm.
