Lady Fucha did not know how long she had been unconscious. When she opened her eyes again, it was already dark.
In the pitch-black room, Empress Fucha felt utterly weak, dizzy, and on the verge of death. But she refused to give up. She groped her way through the darkness until she finally found something. She crawled to the door, took the object, and banged on the doorframe, hoping someone would hear her.
As hope dwindled, Fucha no longer had the strength to lift her hand. Her body seemed to be sinking into an endless abyss, and her vision slowly went black.
Suddenly, a ray of moonlight slowly shone down and fell on Fucha's face, and Fucha finally collapsed.
When Lady Fucha woke up, she found herself already in bed, with a damp cloth on her forehead, and her clothes had been changed. The room was filled with flickering candlelight, and the long-lost warmth made Lady Fucha unable to believe her eyes.
"You're awake? You had a fever all night and it finally went down. You're really lucky..." A woman smiled and walked to the bedside to help Fucha Shi up. She changed the wet cloth on Fucha Shi's forehead and checked her temperature again before she was relieved.
"You...you saved me?" Fucha said to the woman.
As the woman answered, she poured a glass of water for Fucha. Fucha was extremely thirsty, so she snatched the glass and drank it all in one gulp.
The woman laughed and said, "Slow down, don't choke..."
Fucha smiled awkwardly: "I...I'm so thirsty. Oh, right, I haven't asked who you are yet?"
The woman's face suddenly darkened, and she said with a bitter smile, "We're both in this harem, so I'm naturally not some concubine or noblewoman. I just happened to hear some noise from your side today, but I didn't see Eunuch Zhou, so I came to check. I didn't expect you to have such a high fever and be so ill. Luckily, I had some medicine hidden here, which is how you managed to pull through..."
Fucha coughed a few times, her mind racing, when suddenly a thought struck her, and she exclaimed in surprise, "You are Wuya from Zhanghuatai?"
Wuya nodded. Yes, she was the Wuya who had been imprisoned in Zhanghuatai by the Fourth Prince.
Lady Fucha then said, "Thank you so much for saving me, elder sister. I am deeply grateful..."
Uya smiled faintly: "Let's not talk about saving you or not. You're already in this cold palace, and all you want is someone to keep you company. You're very lucky to have been saved..."
Lady Fucha asked, "Why is my sister here?"
Uya didn't want to face the past. She turned her head away and sighed, saying softly, "I was originally the Emperor's cousin, and because of this, I was always envied by Niu Gulu. She used tricks to harm me."
Thinking of this, Lady Wuya became sad. Lady Fucha had heard people mention Lady Wuya, who had been imprisoned in Zhanghuatai.
"Sister, have you ever thought about escaping from here?" Fucha asked.
Uya lamented, "My sister is so optimistic. I've been imprisoned for far too long. No one has ever cared about this place. How can I possibly escape?"
Lady Fucha shook her head, her eyes flashing with malice: "My sister won't stay in this cold palace forever. The fact that Heaven didn't take my life today means I'm not meant to die. Given the chance, I will definitely walk out of here openly and honestly..."
Moved by Lady Fucha's words, Lady Uya asked with hope in her eyes, "Will it...?"
Fucha pulled Wuya aside and said, "Sister, I will, you must believe me. As long as you're willing to help me, I will definitely get you out of here..."
"Really?"
"Um……"
